  Insulation and vapor barrier

  Absolutely ridiculous experience with this company. It seems they have internal HR issues spiraling out of control.

  Had a terrible experience with an employee on sight. The employees are arguing under the house currently.

  Let’s rewind— we hired Freedom Vapor Barrier to take out all old insulation that was existing on the left side of our home due to water damage back in December of 2021

  This company’s told us their crew would take care of the remaining insulation and dispose of I it. They came out as scheduled and we’re here less than an hour and all they did was put dry insulation on top of wet insulation and left. We didn’t know this until March of 2022 because we had to tear out our hall bath tub and saw all the old insulation.

  We had them send out employees— (I’ll have to look up exact dates for them coming out) — to lie to us (we found out it was a lie not even a week or so later.) This employee told me that there was only one tiny section of old insulation left, and I reiterated to him we saw more insulation in a location he’s stating there was none. He assured me he’d go back and check.

  (Side note as I am typing this the employees are moaning under my house!)

  Continuing on, we have a crew scheduled to come out, and fail to come at all! Finally sending another crew out, to tell us they don’t have the material to fix this mistake it’s more insulation than the past crew notated. Come to be told this company fired that group for this same exact issue, but failed to fulfill their responsibility to ensure that groups work was done properly in all houses. This is a known issue, but they aren’t attempting to fix it unless you chase them!

  Fast forward to today. 9am comes in goes but they have the 9am to 10am window, so I was hopeful! Luckily they did show, however because of the issues that we’ve had with them, I’ve been coming outside to watch the progress. At one point, I asked the employee (after hearing them say they are done) whether they were finished pulling out old insulation and he stated, “Yes.” I had just come out from under the crawl space on the opposite side and proceeded to the back side to see old insulation still everywhere! I got very upset and attempted to speak with the supervisor when the issues came about with the other employee. I don’t want to state names online. I am currently in this moment watching them tear out huge sections of damaged insulation that they claimed they were finished pulling out!

  Vapor barrier

  People look no further this is the #1 company I would recommend for vapor barrier from John the salesman to Dean&Devon who installed it ate the most professional and courteous and knowledgeable staff you want in your home! Clean up was unbelievable so were their attitudes I am totally satisfied with this company and I know you will be too! Do yourself alot uneeded stress and call them!!
