    New Consturction

    Katina McClinton - General Contractor of Fresh Start Development she is a SCAM and a FRAUD my husband & I are investor we hired Katina McClinton base on a referral. We went over the contract she agree on the amount per sqt she ask for 20% down to get started of the project which was 23.250.00 I gave her a cashier check on 8/19/2020. Three months later she request for more money when none of the job was done like she said it would be done. She didn't pay the sub contractors I had to re pay she didn't the project manager I had to pay him. And done of the work on done correctly I had to get this work redone over the slab work was uneven really bad which I had to pay another sub contractor to redo all the work over. I ask Katina McClinton for a itemize statement real time and receipts on how my 23.250.00 she never sent it over. Once I call her about it she told me she feel she don't have to show me no itemized statement. She lied and place a fraudulent lien on my property for another 13k that she claim I owe. I reported her to the Licensing department & to the attorney general office. I had to hired me an attorney we working on getting her license revoke. Katina McClinton is a menace to society on scamming/Fraud the community defrauded people and sent out a bogus invoice letting you know this is what you owe her. BEWARE do not use this company.

    The whole house. Roof & the inside.

    They ripped me off of $11500.00! Everything, which by the way, was very little has to be redone!!! They didn't even finish one room! I told them I want $7500.00 back because they might have done $4000.00 worth of work & that includes paying their workers according to 3 other contractors. The materials that they did bring were all used items!!! I have only $7000.00 left and My house is not fit to live in! I called news channel 8... That's how bad it is. The new contractors said I need $20,000 to get it fixed! I only make $8.50/hr. They (fresh Start Dev.) lied, stole & took my money!!!! My children and I can't live there. I hope and pray that 8 On Your Side can help me.

    This place is absolutely terrible. NEVER ever trust them. they cheat their bill, steal from your home and say they are affiliated with a non profit "benefit the kids, inc" and it turns out that "non for profit" has kept 100% of all donations according to charitynavigator.org.
