We entered into a contract with this contractor back in February 2022, with the work scheduled to start August 15th and be completed by August 31st. He was a no show on August 15th, stated he had till August 31st to finish. No show, called him and he stated he would start work September 4 (middle of a holiday weekend) no show, called him again and he stated he would start September 7th. No show, so we cancel the contract for non-preformance and he refused to return the $1,847.50 deposit. Took him to small claims and won a judgement and am still trying to collect.

Unfortunately, we are another victim of Friedmeyer Landscaping. We entered into a contract in June 2022 and this so-called company has breached the contract and stolen our money.
Friedmeyer Landscaping is running a deceptive business. They collect the first payment at contract signing, 2nd payment at start of project and then disappear. -

Beware!! Friedmeyer Landscaping – 1 star, I would never recommend them. These are just the highlights:
• They took 9 months to do a 3-day job installing a brick patio
• The bricks are not level and slope toward the house, with uneven cuts
• Ground never compacted and the joints are not totally filled in
• We had to pay for 3 months of RV Storage
• They left a huge pile of dirt and sand in our FRONT driveway (yes, there was room behind the fence) for 2 months. Turns out it was all for someone else’s job and our front driveway was used for storage!
• Damaged almost 100 sq. ft. of our RV driveway by putting sand on the gravel w/out a tarp and digging in the wrong spot. I am not looking forward to paying for repairs!
• Did not comply with his own contract

BEWARE! In my experience, Michael Friedmeyer is a Hustler and a Thief! He takes your money and then finds excuse after excuse to not be able to do the job. The little work that was done is Sub Par -- and a big mess! Save yourself the trouble, Use a Professional.

I hired Friedmeyer Landscaping Design to complete a paver project in November 2021. Once I paid my deposits FLD started some of the project. However, Mr Friedmeyer than gave me excuses as to why the job wasn't getting complete. I was sympathetic to him at first but his excuse continued. As of August 1st this project is still not finished. Mr. Friedmeyer will not produce the pavers with a proof of purchase, invoice or receipt. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Do your own research and don't fall victim to Mr Friedmeyer's shady business practice.

Our experience with this company was horrible and stressful. We signed a contract in February and as of July 27 still have a torn up yard and nothing but excuses and poor workmanship. We have paid for 2/3 of total cost and have nothing to show for it. The finish date was to be no later than 6/22. I also now know there are others with very similiar issues. This job should of taken no longer than 7-10 days.

Beware!!!! Signed contract on April 6, 2023. Job to be completed by May 8th. Still not done by January 5, 2024. Paid $5,000 upfront. Then, $4500 When he started job. All he did was rototill the lawn and broke a sprinkler. Never came back, ever... Lawn is torn up and nothing done. 8 months of nothing except excuses.
