On Saturday July 16th an installation crew from Frog Built, Inc installed our 21 foot pool. Upon installation we had several concerns and questions, which were dismissed by the crew lead. He responded by saying once the pool filled with water everything would come together and look the way it was suppose to. Below are a list of the concerns and problem areas.
1. The pool liner is over lapping the outside of the pool it is not installed correctly. We were told by the crew lead to cut the liner if we did not like the way it looked. We then watched the installation video again to verify that the pool liner was not installed properly.
2. The posts are not all standing on the concrete blocks evenly; some are off to the side. It is believed they are not level.
3. The pool wall is bowed is numerous areas.
4. The crew lead charged us $550.00 to complete the installation and then said he needed an additional $50.00 for himself for the added headache he had to endure for installing the side panel padding.
Frog Built, Inc. was highly recommended by a previous customer. Due to the amount of questions and concerns that we had, we had our neighbor come over to the installation site and take a look. The first words out of his mouth was "I thought you were going to have Frog Built, Inc. due the installation". He verified that all of our concerns are valid and need to be addressed. At this point we have stopped filling the pool and are awaiting a resolution from Frog Built, Inc. Attached are pictures showing the areas of concerns listed above.
I would like to see Frog Built, Inc. purchase a new liner for my pool as in order to correct all the above issues and install the liner properly the current liner cannot be reused as it already has holes for the pool skimmer and filtration system made by Frog built, Inc. The pool and all the accessories were purchased from http://www.familypoolfun.com/ the name of the pool liner was called rolling rock the pool is 54". We would also like a different installation crew to come on site and complete the installation correctly.
When deciding to have the pool installed we looked to the help of experts as this is not our forte, it is very disappointing that this experience has gone so sour. Please advise of Fog Built, inc. intentions to resolve this serious matter.
At this point Frog Built, Inc is refusing to takle any accountability in this matter and have said that all customers will find something to complain about.
