We first met Mr. Froschheiser when we were interviewing contractors to do a "gut job" on our condo in Emerald Isle, NC. We were impressed with his familiarity with building codes, standard widths and heights of cabinets, etc and also his actually listening to what we wanted.
Since working with him I cannot say how wonderful he has made the process. We live about 2 1/2 hours away so could not be here all the time to monitor the progress, but there was no need. He kept us informed daily via text and pictures as to what was going on. When we had a problem with leaking windows and wood rot he met with the HOA managing firm and worked out with them how to resolve the issues and took care of billing them for the additional work.
At every step he called and asked for our input as to everything right down to which direction we wanted the medicine cabinets to open. Now some people may not want that much input, but as I mentioned when we first met he listened to what we wanted and one thing was being kept in the loop. I can be a little picky and controlling.
His work is top notch, with no corners cut and he is extremely easy to work with. Also he had many great ideas to improve the outcome of our long awaited renovation. I can honestly say that this is the most pleasant renovation / building experience I have had in many years if not ever. On time and on budget.
Highly recommend.
