As new waterfront homeowners, we discovered that our dock was so old that it had to be completely replaced. We called 6-7 different marine construction companies and FTL was the only one that bothered to respond. Frank Lowman the owner assessed our needs and gave us a quote within a week of calling. While waiting for the permit process, and before we had settled on a contractor, our lower platform sustained enough damage during a storm that we were afraid it would disconnect and wash away. We called Frank on a Sunday morning to leave a message and see if he could help and to our amazement, he showed up that afternoon to strengthen it until the whole dock could be replaced. Needless to say, we selected FTL when our permit came in. Our dock is now completed and we couldn't be more pleased with it. We chose the WearDeck composite decking. It looks amazing and will last without maintenance for our lifetime. FTL's attention to detail on exact pole locations, the perfect scribing around the poles, the crew's professionalism and concern about all our needs, and their constant coordination with our electrician and boat lift representative made us understand how important it is to select the right company for such a complex construction project. We will recommend FTL to anyone who asks.
