STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON ARTIST!!!
We hired G & A to install our windows in 9/2018. George ( the owner) insisted that we give him the money for the windows before he placed the order. He came to measure about 5 times. We figured he was being thorough. We gave him an initial cash deposit and about a month or so later we gave him the remainder of the deposit (in cash) for the what he charged for just the windows plus a little bit towards additional material and labor for the job. We were told that the windows would take about 3 months to come in.
After, about 5 months of waiting for our windows they finally arrived and George claimed he had them at his shop in brewster. When it was time to install the windows George (the owner) became "sick". We were extremely emphatic and worked with him to delay install so he can get well.
Once he started to feel better he started to push to deliver the windows even though he was not ready to install them ( he had other jobs to do before ours). He wanted the windows to sit at our house instead of his shop. He threatened us with additional storage fees if he had to hold the windows at his shop any longer. We agreed to have the windows delivered.
Upon delivery, the windows were the wrong color, size and some were damaged. The best part is that windowrama delivered them. So, I guess we were to believe that windowrama delivered them to his shop and then weeks later, went back to his shop to pick them up and deliver them to our house? Due to the delivery of windows were the wrong, color,size we denied the delivery and sent the windows back immediately. After going back forth about the product discrepancies, we realized that they really screwed something up because windowrama was not willing to make the situation right, we decided to cancel the order. George refused to pay us the money we had given him and as a matter of fact, denied ever receiving the second deposit (even though it was given to him in the presence of his employees) which obviously was necessary in order for him to place to the order placed.
Needless to say, its been over 2 years and we still do not have our money we paid him, nor window. He has our money and windows!!
I don't know how he sleeps at night going around stealing peoples money!!!
WE HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON ANYONE, HOWEVER WE DEEMED IT NECESSARY THAT IF YOU PLAN TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS THIEF TO RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!!!
