After paying him in full, including all change orders, as he said he needed to keep current on his sub-contractors, Kevin left job unfinished and didn’t return calls to finish work. After about two weeks it all became clear, he wasn’t paying his subcontractors and they came to homeowners (me) looking for their money. Kevin Boyd left a mess in our house and with the subcontractors who are still looking for their money. Don’t not use this person in your home!

I hired Kevin, who i considered a personal friend at the time to build an addition on my garage. i paid him $7000 up front. the project never received the needed variance and was at that point not possible. when i asked for the deposit back, at first he agreed, then started making excuses. Despite him doing literally no work on the project, i asked him how many hours he believed he had worked and offered to pay him for those. He went absolutely silent. has not returned a text or a call. After searching online and reaching out to other people, it seems he has taken other people’s money as well. He stole at least $5000 from me (a friend at the time).
DO NOT hire this person.
