I do not have enough good things to say about Gaetano Cement Contractors, LLC. I hired Guy to prep my basement slab (concrete grinding) for new flooring that I am planning on installing. Guy worked around my schedule and came to my house within a couple days of my initial inquiry. Once I hired Guy, he and Gaetano Cement Contractors, LLC. communicated extremely well and was in constant contact with me through the entire job.
I immediately could tell from my initial interaction with Guy that he has incredible attention to detail. He was able to point out things in the concrete that I never noticed. He quickly pointed out elevation changes in my concrete that I had not noticed and had a plan immediately on how to address those issues. Having these open lines of communication helped the job go as smoothly as possible and avoided down time.
Guy discussed what time he'd like to be on the job and how long he'd work and was very prompt when beginning each day. Guy is extremely knowledgeable about concrete and provided me many updates through the course of the job.
Prior to the job, Guy explained how he planned to bring in and set up his equipment. This allowed me time to prep both my home to remove obstacles, and also the work area. He also laid down drop cloths across my flooring during the equipment moving process to prevent any damage. The job went very smoothly After completing the concrete grinding, Guy spent an extra 45 minutes vacuuming my basement to remove as much dust as possible, which I was not expecting.
Guy was extremely professional and courteous to me and my family. He is also very conscientious about his work and stands behind it. Before he left the job, his parting words were "if you have any problems or need me to come back, give me a call and I'll fix whatever you need, no charge." Based on the job, and the results I don't think I'll need to call, but it gives me great peace of mind to know that Guy will be there again if I need him. Thank you Gaetano Cement Contractors, LLC for taking care of my basement. I’ll be sure to recommend you to anyone who asks for a concrete contracting referral in the future.
