We have been at this home for just 2 months, a couple weeks after moving in a Gals Landscaping came over to do our lawn. We were confused as to why they were cutting since this had been the first time interacting and we asked them to stop the service. They explained these services had been paid for already by the previous home owner with the contract they had signed.
Today, we had another company do some landscaping service since we never got in contact with anyone at Gal's. Nobody ever came and introduced themselves to the new owner. An hour after the landscaping service we hired started working on our lawn I get an constant ringing of the doorbell. I answer the door and it's the owner of Gal's landscaping. First question that comes out of them is "Why are they doing your landscaping?". No idea who this person on my property is. They then start demanding payment for services we never asked for and services we were told had been paid for. Then I assume another owner, a man, comes out of a car to try and intimidate me saying "Oh, your not going to pay us? You aren't gonna pay us huh?" They didn't even want to tell me the name of their company until I started taking picture of their license plate. This is when I found out they were the owners of the business. At first they told me we had a contract but again when it was made clear to them they never spoke to us, suddenly its not a contract but yet they want to be paid for services that we were told had been paid for already. The funny thing is the landscaping company wasn't even here to take over the job of the company and we likely would have stayed with Gal's after the "contract" was over but after today there is no way we would ever as Gal's for their service. Extremely unprofessional, they claim they never knew how to contact us but the moment they see another landscaping company they like they can pull up to my property and be disrespectful. I would not recommend this company at all. Not because of their laborers but because of the owners themselves.

They get one star only because I had to enter something to write a review. One star is being overly positive.
I approached the owner last year when he was doing work for a neighbor. I had some bald spots in an otherwise healthy lawn. I agreed to have him fill in the low spots, add topsoil to the bald spots, and seed. The day of the work, he offered to do the whole lawn, same price. It was late in the year, but I agreed, since he assured me it would be OK.
His business card says his work is owner supervised. I never saw him after this date. When some spots were not completed, I spoke to the foreman, and he made adjustments.
The lawn didn't come in as expected. The owner assured me he would make it right, and he would be out with his crew.
His crew showed up, but he didn't. The foreman told me all the problems were due to my sump pump, threw some dirt in a bad low spot, and some seed. I don't know how a sump pump water in my back yard ruined my front lawn, but that was his excuse.
He also sent a text that was rude, unprofessional, and in which he called me a liar. I wouldn't hire them for anything
