Gambrick Builders

We hired GUY back in April of 2024 to convert our garage into a 2 bedroom living space. We signed a contract with a completion date of July 2024. Things in the beginning were going well, payments were made out to GUY Gambrick Builders as he started each task per our contract. Although payments were always made on time , the project wasnt even close to being done in july as it was initially stated by Guy.... Fast forward to October of 2024 communication started to slow down. I would call , no response . I would text both of his numbers all of which would end up with either delayed responses or no response at alll. His communication skills are Terrible its actually non existent for the most part. We paid Guy Gambrick over 30k with a balance left of only a little of 1k remaining which he was to receive as the final project complete payment as per the contract. It is now May of 2025 and our Garage project is not Completed at all. Flooring isn't done, sidings aren't done ,windows aren't sealed, closets arent installed, bathroom isnt done, heating and cooling isnt done, kitchen isn't completed..there are sooo many things he did that were incomplete, He even drilled a whole in my roof for ventilation for the bathroom which he failed to seal , because of this my bathroom now has water damage from the rain. I've tried many times to reach out to him which got me no where. The times he said he would show up to continue the project were all lies. Sometimes after numerous phone call attempts from my end he would respond with an excuse through text. He would respond with sayin tomorrow he will be at the project site...the day would come and he still doesnt show up. He is 100% a shady contractor. He presented himself as if he was professional and trustworthy in the beginning but now I can honestly say he is my worst nightmare. The amount of stress he put me under is ridiculous.

UPDATE::: IT is Now the end of June of 2025 no progress was made. Before writing the above review we attempted several times to reach out to Guy . He knew we were suppose to Move this june, bc of his negligence we're not able to move in. Again all calls were Ignored, however once he noticed our review on a different website. he responded through text and demanded that we remove our review ...his exact words were "Remove the review then we can talk." Although our review for his business is in FACT TRUTHFUL. We followed up by asking him again if /and when he would be goin to the property to finish our project we got zero reponse. We were willing to delete the review just so we could have our project completed . He kept both sets of our Home keys as well as some items that we purchased from Home Depot witch he picked up monthsss ago Refusing to return them. He left us on Read and we have not heard from him since. He chose not to abide by the contract. He took our MONEY and Vanished. his quotes may seem Good at first...but he is the perfect scammer bc you honestly dont even see it coming. Our BIGGEST
MISTAKE was hiring him.
