    For the past 20 years, I have worked with Kurt Gant and his company on numerous construction projects in St. Michaels and the Bay Hundred area of Talbot County, including commercial properties, my own home, and the St. Michaels Community Center. Kurt is a talented builder with a particular expertise and experience working on historic properties where he knows the town and county historic preservation guidelines and procedures. He is the first person I would call if I need a construction contractor. Langley Shook

    Horrible! He lied about all his work. He was contracted to remove rotten wood and replace in columns which he didn't do just covered it up with new scrap wood. Gutters he in stalled never worked correctly. He cut a board short and caulked it to look like it was whole. His work is going to get someone hurt or killed one day. You will be paying double for a job done by him. Once to him and once to the contractor you hirer to fix all his crappy work. On top of that he got an attitude with me and resorted to bullying. WE DON'T RECOMEND HIM. Run

    review his record before hiring. Installed tile flooring with hollow spots and cracking grout, poorly finished thresholds that fell off after the grout dried. Shoddy standards, unethical methods, and did not follow through with contract.

    Contracted to build a pole barn, He took $8800.00 and vanished,. Sued in court and won. Never paid. Going after him still. Look up Kurt Gant in the Maryland court public records and you will see how many people he had screwed over.
