Jose Villegas from Garcia Plumbing installed the water heater in our house just before we moved in, in June 2020. Last week, the pilot light went out and would not stay lit. I relit the pilot light, but it kept going out. To keep the water hot for showers, laundry, dishwasher, etc., I had to light the water heater several times per day. I called his Jose's number twice and he never returned my calls. I emailed him twice, and he never returned my emails. I called Garcia Plumbing to explain my situation. They called me back on Saturday, and verified that Jose works for them and assured me they would have him contact me. The next day (Sunday) Jose called and made arrangements to come take a look at the water heater on Monday. He showed up on Monday, and worked for about an hour. He replaced some gas line tubing, and said it was good to go. 15 minutes later I went down to check it, and the pilot light was out again. I called Jose to tell him, and he said they'll probably have to replace it, and he'll be back later today. That evening around 6:00 pm, he texted me and said he can't make it and he'll be back in the morning. He never showed up on Tuesday. I tried to contact him around noon, and he never replied. He hasn't replied as of yet. I'm forced to get someone else out here and I'll have to pay out of pocket for their services, rather than have Jose Villegas and/or Garcia Plumbing take care of it as they should. Needless to say, I'm not very happy. We have a home warranty, and we'll only have to pay the deductible of $75, but it's the principle. It's bad business to not take care of your customers. Obviously I wouldn't recommend this company.
