Mark Costa owns and operates Garden State Painting. I'm more than pleased - he and his employees did an outstanding job; were extremely efficient and friendly; real gentlemen. The clean lines were perfect - no blotches, no mess anywhere. They did wall and ceiling repairs (plastering) for me the first day; came back at 7:00 a.m. the second day and were finished by early afternoon. They covered my furniture and floors so well, cleaned up so much, even started sweeping. All I had to do when they left was to run the vacuum and dust a bit - the rooms and ceilings they worked on look amazing. Bottom line, I highly recommend Garden State Painting in Bayville NJ. They are exceptional painters and the cost was very reasonable.

Unfortunately I had to babysit the project. The owner drops his 2 workers off gives directions and leaves. Not that the job was bad, but unfinished and rushed. They failed to complete the entire job by providing proper coverage and two coats as promised.There were even areas they did not touch. I wholly blame responsibility on the owner who did not oversee entire job (3 1/2 days). By Monday at noon he was pushing his guys out the door before doing an inspection. Roller strokes are visible on the entrance walls and it looks awful. They got compound on my sofa cushion (small, but very noticeable) and denied denied!!! The owner actually yelled at me, the customer.I actually had to repaint and I must say I did a fantastic job. I would not recommend to even someone I do not like. I paid in full just to never have to see him again!
