  Build house

  Absolute WORST builder I have ever worked with. Bought house in Dec 2017 and have had nothing but problems. And I have pictures of it all. From the concrete being poured on my patio that now covers the bottom step, to concrete poured in my yard, nails in the carpet, the cheap paint that looks like my 2nd grader did it, cheap hardware, cracked shower, leaking windows, uneven floors. Jason is a BULLY and we have him on video being a condescending jerk to me and my husband after repeated attempts to get the problems fixed. We also have a text of him saying he intentionally avoided us until a year was up so they Weren’t liable for any repairs. Awful awful AWFUL. Do not buy from Boyce.

  Painting in bathroom looks like a child did it. I'm going to have to repaint. Looks like they used two different colors; one for the walls and one to trim around the tub. There are nicks all in the hardwood floors. The grading is probably the worst I've ever seen. They even came back to redo it and it looks worse now than before. Called them back and was told it looks ok, yet there is a big mound in front of one side of the house and water stands everywhere in small ponds all around the house. Now they have a drain field from across the road coming across the back corner of my lot that stands underwater. Get your workers in check man, they are doing subpar work and making you look bad. Guess I'll have to get a lawyer and sue too.

  Home construction

  We highly recommend our contractor Jason Williams. From the beginning he has been nothing but helpful and patient with us. He will work with you to build your perfect home. We are very pleased with our new home and Jason made picking out all the details very easy. He was the most easy person to reach. If he could not answer the phone he called you back promptly and responded to text messages quickly. It felt more like you had a friend in the home building process and not just a contractor. He stands for nothing but quality and our family is grateful we found him!

  This was the best building experience ever!!!! Jason is the best communicator in the construction industry. I could not have asked for a better process. I love that we had so many options. This is such a well built house. I want them to do every house I ever build!! I feel so lucky to have met Jason. He is the number 1 builder in the world!!!!You have to go with them! The most satisfied customer ever!

  Working with Jason Williams was a breeze. He met all of our expectations and has been fully accomendating to our every need and question since we moved in. We needed to move in a little earlier than expected and he was able to get the house completed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE ! The quality of work Jason and his crew perform is impeccable, I couldn’t be happier with our new home ! Being our first new home construction Jason did a great job of guiding my wife and I through the process . He helped us make the right decisions and provided us with all kinds of options . I am in customer service , and can’t say how impressed I am by Jason’s true professionalism . He is good on his word and if we decide to build again there is no other company I would use other than Gary Boyce Construction .

  Building a home

  Jason Williams was awesome from start to finish! We walked into this building process completely clueless , our first meeting with Jason was at least a few hours long because we had so many questions and he never once made us feel rushed. The floor plan we picked out he made some changes for us to make it exactly how we wanted & I'm in love with how it turned out! He always kept us in the loop with everything that was going on with the house. Anytime we had a question or concern he was always available. We are very pleased with our experience working with Jason. Definitely would recommend him to family and friends.

  Custom home building

  I cannot rave enough about Jason Williams! I never had the pleasure of meeting Gary, but Jason was the most honest, reliable, accommodating contractor I could have ever hoped to work with. His work is high quality in aesthetics and structure . Even our inspector commented that our home was one of the most well built homes he had seen in his career. Above providing our dream home, Jason is a genuine good guy who cares about people and is incredibly trustworthy. I doubt I will ever want to move again, but if we do it will be another one of their homes. He set the bar high for us now and we cannot thank him enough!

  When we decided to build a home we had so many questions. From the very beginning Jason Williams put our minds at ease. He was easy to work with, was always in communication with us, and never hesitated to give us his opinion when asked but wasn't pushy about it and always said it's our house and he'll do as we ask as long as it met codes. When we found some small problems he never hesitated to fix the issues and always updated us about them. He always told us he wants us to be happy and he did everything in his power to make sure we stayed happy and the house was what we wanted it to be. If we ever build again we will definitely have Gary Boyce Construction and Jason Williams build our house.

  Our experience with Gary Boyce and Jason Williams was great. We moved from Kentucky, and had to work from a distance with Jason. He was so accommodating. Never a problem he could not take care of to our satisfaction. Highly recommend.

  I love my new home, which it was built by Gary Boyce Constructions .I had a good experience with them and Jason Williams was a the one who help me how to choose my colors and some ideas that I wanted for my kitching cabinets.I will recommend him to my friends whoever decides to build their own home .

  Build my house.

  My house is beautiful. I was iffy about the colors and finishes but Jason helped guide in the right direction. The only problem I had is the way the door opened into the dining kitchen area. It literally took half the space...no room for a table. Jason did work with me and he made it to where the door swung outward. Had I known early enough I would have requested to have sliding doors. Also the shower had quite a bit of spackel and I knew that it would be difficult to take off smoothly. It has a large area in the middle that looks scratched. Jason did agree to send someone out to buffer it out...again he works with your needs. In the end I loooove my house. Perfect for me.

  Build our home

  My wife and I recently closed on our home built by Gary Boyce Construction and Jason Williams. Being new to Tennessee, and with the market being as hot as it is, we decided to build. We looked at several builders in the Murfressboro, Shelbyville and other areas around Middle Tennessee and decided to go with Boyce Construction because of the quality and value of the homes they built. Our home was completed within a couple weeks of the scheduled date to close. Jason was very available during the home building process and stayed in contact with us—updating us throughout the process. As with any construction project, you expect a few missteps, and in our case, the Boyce Team was quick to resolve the issues. We met with Jason several times during the process and each time found him to be interested in seeing to it that the house would truly be the home we wanted. We closed 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased with our new home. Since closing on the home, we’ve decided to make some changes and Jason and the Boyce team have been helpful with that as well. Gary Boyce Construction and Jason Williams do amazing work. They’re organized, timely, work with great subs and provide you with a quality home for your money. We may likely be in the market for a new home in the future and will definitely reach out to Gary Boyce Construction and Jason to build the home for us. We’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a home around Middle Tennessee.

  My husband and I just recently closed on our house that was built by Gary Boyce Construction/Jason Williams. After the sell of our house we weren't set on a plan... whether to buy or to build. We looked at a few homes and lots before falling in love with a particular lot. Once we found out who owned the lot we knew then that we would build. Jason was great considering all the work that had to be put into the lot before building. He stayed in constant communication and seemed very hands on. Once the construction began everything went so quickly and we couldn't believe our eyes. Seeing our dream home almost finished was an awesome feeling. We had a few hiccups but Jason and the Team never once hesitated to make things right. Jason wanted it to be everything we wanted. We closed about 3 weeks ago and I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous "forever" home. Gary Boyce Construction and Jason Williams do amazing work. "IF" we were to ever build again we would definitely consider Gary Boyce Construction to do the job but I honestly can't imagine leaving the home he has already built for us.

  Buyer beware of Gary Boyce and Jason Williams. They are a couple of LYING Sharks. I could write a post that would be 10 pages but I'll summerize it like this. They breached the contract, put septic in wrong place, changed layout of house, didn't put in lights where they were supposed to be. Used cheap paint to hid flaws in house. Didn't clean drywall dust before painting over it. Left damaged cabnits and hardwood flooring. Gouges in drywall. Uneven landscaping. Didn't buy septic tank deep enough, left areas of walls uneven and even unfinished. The list goes on and on. In our escrow paperwork they agreed to fix it so we could close. Even with everything in writing, they refused to come back and fix it. Obviously we're going to be suing them. Wil have website up explaining everything.

  New home construction

  Make sure he paid the taxes on it before you buy!

  I purchased a home from him in Unionville, TN in a new subdivision. The home was average construction, but when I went to sell it, found out he owed unpaid taxes on it. I had to come up with at closing to sell the home (this was supposed to be researched by title company and they dropped the ball, but the point is that HE owed back taxes that weren't paid!) Be careful if you purchase from him that all taxes have been paid and are current! Made me sick!

  Gary built my house in June and we couldn't be more pleased. Gary was a great guy to work with he done everything exactly by codes he didn't skim on anything. Gary has great subs and if he tells you something you can believe that's how it will be. Thank you Gary Boyce construction we will be using Gary again and we recommend him to everyone building.

  Gary is a great builder and an honest guy that went above and beyond to build our house.
  I highly recommend him .
  I disagree with Steven B and i highly doubt Gary did any thing that wasn't up to codes because he does everything to a very high standard and not to mention the codes department of marshall county would not have passed the house on all inspections of which i think there were four times the inspector came out to our house and he is extremely thorough and we passed with flying colors .
  I dont understand why Steven B holds Mr Boyce responsible for a house that he didn't buy from him and it was a used house and not under warranty we all know that used houses are as/is !!
  I personally recommend Gary as a builder he does a great job and is easy to work with and when he tells you something you can take it to the bank

  The Marshall County codes paperwork stated that there were no floor joist hangers installed, cathedral ceiling was improperly supported, concrete beams had the 2x10 supports horizontal when they should have been vertical. The front yard grading forces water into the crawl space. We are the 2nd owner and had to hire a structural engineer to come do a report which matched with the same issues that Marshall County cited. Contacted Gary Boyce and was told the home was out of warranty. Hard to have a warranty on things that weren't done to begin with. Someone who is state certified with the knowledge of codes and with integrity should have stepped up to help with the cost of repairs to a home his company built with his name on it. Obviously he does not follow code and does not stand behind his work.
