Extremely poor experience with Gary. The quality of the work he completes is poor, he doesn't hold himself or his subs accountable. The project took him 3 times as long to complete as he said it would & seemed to never end. Once he received final payment, he would not return calls to repair significant quality issues that I had to pay another contractor over $1000 to complete. Don't use him unless you want headaches. Gary is a nice guy but he is a terrible communicator & he just doesn't know how to manage renovation projects. He will engage when he wants paid but don't look for much engagement other than that. If you hire Gary like I did to expect him to manage & oversee the workmanship & the timeliness of the project, you WILL be disappointed as I was & you will end up having to do this yourself. This makes you have to ponder what value Gary brings to the situation which I can tell you is very little. The final confirmation that you don't want to use Gary is when someone won't even return your calls once a job is supposed to be complete & isn't, well I think that says about all you need to know about him. Do yourself a favor & find someone else that will actually be responsible & accountable.
