From the get-go, this man was abrasive and had a difficult time diagnosing what was wrong with the A/C.
When “he thought” he knew what the problem was and it came time to order the parts I asked him to give me the price before he purchased them but did not. When I addressed him on this he had no answer and we were in the middle of a heat wave so I overlooked this.
Before he came with the parts I called him to ask when he was coming and how much the parts were going to be. He stated, “I just picked up your parts and almost had a heart attack”. I then addressed him about purchasing the parts without telling me the cost to which he ignored and forcefully said “I’m coming now”.
With those parts (motherboard, motor control) he was unable to get the A/C unit working and said it would be 2-3 days for a different part to come in. When questioned about the price of this part, he tried to ignore me and stated he would be back in 2-3 days. When I insisted he tell me he stated it was covered under warranty.
On the fourth day, after he said 3 days for the parts, it was a Wednesday (still in a heat wave) I called him to ask if he had the parts, he said that he did. I asked why he did not call me to schedule but had no answer. Again, this call took place on a Wednesday, and he said he could not come until Monday.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday go by, no call, no show.
If you’re reading this, you’re getting the picture.
Bottom line, he’s a liar, all the parts were under warranty and was going to charge over a 1k for them, and he’s abrasive, forceful, unreliable, and not a good technician.
Do not use him!
