We are a small family owned plumbing company that believes in taking care of our customers at an affordable price. Our owner is a fourth generation journeyman plumber with 30 years of experience.We strive to provide excellent customer service and do the job right the first time. Our plumbers have a minimum of 15 years of experience and can handle any job that is needed. We are licensed and bonded and also drive service vans with company name on them. Respect for your home is one of our top priorities and our plumbers use booties and use drop cloths when needed so that we do not damaged your carpet or floors. We look forward to servicing all of your plumbing needs.

Beware! We are incredibly frustrated with the plumbers' lack of integrity!!
We had a toilet leak on our upper level that caused water leak down to the main level. Their plumber came out, said he fixed the problem, but then we had the same issue again. This time, it caused enough water damage to warrant a water mitigation company to come out and dry everything. S Gates then sent out the plumber for a second time. The plumber claimed they fixed the issue, and then it happened AGAIN! Luckily, the water mitigation equipment was still there, so we left it in place for several more days.
The owner came out and saw the problem should have been caught the first two times they were out there. I said, "this sounds like a learning experience for your plumber," the owner said, "he might not have a job after this."
The owner gave me his WORD he would "make things right." He said he wasn't sure if he'd submit our bills to his insurance or pay it out of pocket.
When I sent the owner the bills for the water mitigation and refinishing of the bathroom, they made up a completely unbelievable story about the city somehow being at fault ALL THREE TIMES, and when I pressed him on it, said "I'd rather close my doors than pay for this. It's not fair." The reaction from both owners was completely unreasonable.
When I asked the owner "Did you say you would make this right when you came out?" He replied, "I did, but that doesn't mean I'm going to pay you." What else could "make this right" possibly mean? Now we have to go to court for me to collect.
From my experience, when things don't go well, S Gates can't be relied upon to keep their word.
One good point to mention: the owner did come out on the weekend to look at the toilet when he heard of the first two botched repair attempts. He was also having some health issues. Kudos to him for coming out on short notice in his condition, but I'm still out thousands of dollars that the plumber won't pay for.
