We have lived in 2 homes built by GBS- in 2 different neighborhoods built out entirely by GBS. We, as well as all of our neighbors in both neighborhoods, have been very happy with our homes! I’m shocked by what other reviewers have said. I guess it’s true that the only people who take time to write reviews are those who are unhappy. We love our house and are very happy with the quality of the build. The interior finishes are beautiful, and we had no issues getting things fixed after closing.
We viewed probably 25 houses in multiple neighborhoods in NWA before selecting a house and the GBS homes we looked at far exceeded what other builders were doing - in both quality, finishes and value for money.

GBS has built three new houses for me and I am currently talking to them about a fourth new house. I have been happy with the quality of their workmanship and materials. I haven’t had any of the issues that others have talked about. They build a lot of new homes and the vast majority of homeowners that I have talked to over the past 10 years or so seem very happy with their investment

We recently purchased a new build after the home was complete. We were unfortunately not able to change any cosmetics etc in the home during the build, however we have grown to love everything. GBS has always been very responsive in our needs. We would recommend building and purchasing with GBS in the future. We really enjoy the floorpan and we are looking forward to the recreational lots to come in the neighborhood.

Ditto to what everyone else has said. Regretting our purchase as they cut corners everywhere, don’t fix warranty items, flat out told us it’s a 300k house that we paid over 600k for. It’s not even 300k quality. Terrible company and people. Will be pursuing legal action.

Absolute crooks that change their business name every few years in order to avoid lawsuits. One year into the house there are multiple window leaks from improper installation, tile cracks from faulty installation, and the majority of drawers have had hardware failure. Several cracks in drywall and joints point to cheap and shoddy frame or foundation work. They offered to put some caulk on it to fix everything, because with these clowns, caulk is the way to solve every fundamental problem.

gave them one star only because I had to. This is the worst builder I have ever worked with. They are unresponsive and give you any excuse in the world of why the problems happened. Been in the house for 10 months now and things that were identified before closing are still not fixed. When I finally talk to Daniel he says I am working on it. How they survive is beyond me.

I've owned two homes built by GBS. Low quality, poor craftsmanship and shoddy work. Corners cut in every room of the house; from putting floors down too soon so now they are damaged, to horrible paint job. The HVAC is, well less than average quality and the fixtures are dime-store quality.

Having owned multiple new homes in the past- this was by far the worst experience our family has ever endured when buying a new home. Service after the sale was pathetic. Getting returned phone calls/ text messages/ emails often required threats of contacting legal counsel. At one point we went weeks without response to needed repairs. Will never use this company ever again.

Insanely incredibly low work ethic & lack of pride in their work. They have slumped on all repairs that are covered in our warranty & have belittled us as homeowners. The person they have in charge of customer service and home warranty, Daniel Fields is lower than mediocre. He has argued with me, lied to me, refused services, told me that his men haven’t done ‘x’ of the problems, and it ‘must have been kids who did it’ — which not sure why they would leave product (mortar) out that is wet, thus allowing kids to throw it on my roof?!

We have to corner him in order to get him to respond, we have gone weeks without hearing from him even after calling & texting for updates.

We highly recommend you steer SO far away from this building development. They want your money and will do ANYTHING they can to not help you during your warranty period.
