I hired GCC Builders/ Tren Concrete/ We Frame Homes (3in1) to do a driveway and retaining wall for me John and Alberto came and measured. they were not the cheapest quote we got but they looked clean and presented themselves like they knew what they were doing. They claimef to be licensed and insured. they said I needed 89 yards of concrete when in reality I only needed about 76 to 78 Max. I paid them all material and most of the labor. The concrete supply company came to me and said they didn't get paid for material and would be putting a lien on my house if not paid. GCC claimed they paid a 3rd party for all material but they got scammed. They said they are working with their bank and will pay me back once they have money. GCC refused to pay material so I had to pay concrete suppliers over 11k to avoid lien and now I have to pay additional concrete that I need to have for the rest of my driveway. the retaining wall is not done as well. they told me to pay the remaining 3k from our contract ((i already paid partial of the final payment since they said they needed it to pay some of the workers)) they said i also need to buy the material which will cost me over 4k as well. They have not returned my 11k+, I have a driveway and retaining wall that is not done. I kept giving them time to correct the issue but they kept on saying that they don't have money and asking me for more money to finish the job. I offered to pay for the remaining concrete if they finish the work with me having a $0balance with them but they said at first so I would pay concrete plus remaining contract amount. I told them no that didn't work for me since I'm already out over 11k for material double charge. Then they said I can pay concrete and 1k for additional day of labor. I told them I will not be paying the 1k but can pay for concrete material. they also tried to have Lowes come and pick up material for return that I already paid for so they can buy caps for the retaining wall. I told them the retaining wall is not done and we will still need that material. they said when they have money then they will buy the caps. mind you the caps I need are about $2.38 a piece and I need about 40 max. It's been almost a month with no money back and no completed driveway or retaining wall. I would not recommend them to anyone for the lack of effort to resolve this situation and asking me for more money to correct their mistake. they are claiming to be victims to a scam but at the end of the day I am the victim since I had a contract with them, paid THEM money for material and labor and they didn't pay the supplier resulted in me almost having a lien on my home. they made no effort to pay the supplier and claimed they didn't have money.
