We hired Gecho to build out dream home on Royal Oaks golf course in July of 2015. Peter Gecho was barely present and even when he was there he was always in a hurry to be someplace else. He told the subs to deal directly with us and that’s when we discovered he had been under paying the subs and padding the bills! We fired him in December 2016. To date we have a defective roof, a floor so badly buckled the tile had to be torn out twice, shoddy plumbing, and he missed critical inspections so we are having a hard time getting a final occupancy permit! Peter Gecho also pocketed the 100k deposit instead of depositing it in the bank. We have had to hire another builder to help us finish the home, and an attorney to get our money back! Do not do business with this person!
