We recently changed all our balcony doors with impact doors. My experience unfortunately was a nightmare. They brought the wrong size windows for my dining room, and put a slider window in my bedroom backwards which they had to redo. I thought I was finished with this company but the other night it rained hard for 15 mins. And I had water filling the tracks on 3 separate windows. They told me it's designed that way with weep holes in the tracks to drain the water. I never heard that . I hardly ever had water in my old windows which were over 20 years old. You would expect impact hurricane windows would not let water in . I can only imagine if I had steady rain for a few hours or worse a hurricane what would happen to my wood floors.
Have called so many times to speak to owner ( he never calls back) finally I had to tell them if they weren't here this week there would be serious consequences. Someone is coming tomorrow to check out the problem which I hope will be resolved without some story about that's what their suppose to do( drain the weep holes). Sorry to say I would never recommend this company. Doors are nice looking but so far for sunny days only !
