Overall it was a fairly good experience with Genesis Construction. On the plus side, they got us a lot more money from our insurance for items that were missed during the initial inspection. The window company they used was excellent and the window selection was very good. On the negative side, dealing with a business based out of Denver wasn't a good idea. Several times the contact person made it clear that it was an inconvenience for him to come so far to the Springs. He made us feel like we were really putting him out. The overall experience was fine but I would not hire this company again.

I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs. Their disregard for the disabled occupant, failure to communicate, and endangerment of occupants of the property was by far the worst I've ever seen. I worry that time will also show the quality of their work to be significantly substandard, if it reflects the three days of hell I've experienced. I'm so very glad they're finally gone.
