  Our roof was replaced in a very timely manner. The workmanship was excellent. The team that came out were polite, efficient, and worked without stopping to complete the job much quicker than we anticipated. They cleaned up everything and left no debris behind. The roofing was completed in 2023.. Our son-in-law law was on the roof last summer and said everything looked great. Thank you for a job well done.

  Deck Build

  I purchased a deck package through Lowes this year and Lowes contracted with George Owen Construction to build it. George Owen took our money but subcontracted it out locally (11/2 hrs. away). We never met anyone from this company. It turned out that, after waiting a couple months for our estimated build date, no one had put us on the schedule. Unfortunately, the deck didn't pass inspection and the workmanship was poor. I was home overseeing the builders every day. One builder came the first three days, then a group of three individuals came the next 3 days, and another man came the rest of the days. Unfortunately, because the second group couldn't speak English, I was unable to ask them questions when I noticed problems. The railing came apart immediately and the green deck boards were put down with major gaps. George Owen Contruction refused to have the builder/s push them together or replace them even though they were put in that way. I took pictures but that didn't matter. They attempted to fix the railing, but it came apart again in no time. The steps cupped almost immediately as well. The right-hand post at the bottom of the stairs still leans backwards. The deck failed inspection a second time, but the inspector, as a courtesy, allowed the builder to make the necessary changes without calling it a failed inspection. I was told that a failed second inspection would cost them financially. I also requested the names/licenses of the builders from George Owen but never got an answer. I had a separate contractor come and look at the deck. He graded it a "C." That's not what you want to hear when you pay thousands of dollars for something that you expect to be a quality product. It's embarrassing when people visit and see the deck railing coming apart and can wave at anyone standing under the deck because the gaps are so wide. Sadly, because of the problems left by this company, we will need to pay additional money to have them fixed.

  Bathroom remodel

  One of the easiest contractors I have dealt with. Subcontractors showed up when Danny said they would and on time. All were polite and courteous and stayed until the work was completed. In one case, Danny met us on our schedule at the Home Depot to select the materials needed. We had our master bathroom redone and were pleased with the result.

  Bath

  I recently hadLowes to redo a master bath and the contractor they sent screwed it up by putting 26 additional holes in my wall by not measuring correctly. Needless to say we fired them and got Georgr Owens Construction to finish and they sent Donnie to the house and everything was finished in good order in 2 days!! I would highly recommend Owens construction but definitely not Mountain View construction.Thank you Donnie? You are a real asset to this company!

  These guys have done some amazing jobs that i have been company fortunate to see for myself. The jobs are always done to perfection they are accurate and beautiful. The jobs are always done in reasonable timely manners. The employees are very considerate and respectful. They have just done an amazing job keep the crew you have it seems to be working very well for your company yall have done amazing work together and would hire you anytime to do any job i have. This company is very well known for being completely upfront with their customers and honoring their word with nothing but compassion and honesty. keep up the good work
