I couldn't be happier with my George Tomas Homes purchase. I just bought my first home from them and have been happy with everything so far. I had a few issues with flooring after I moved in and they handled it quickly. I'm happy to give them a 5 star review. Communication was not a problem and I am happy with my brand new home!

We couldn’t be happier with our George Tomas home. From start to finish the team has been outstanding to work with and the quality is superior. We highly recommend George Tomas Homes to anyone looking to build the home of their dreams.

By Jessica O.April 16, 2019Bought a new home from them$2,000
I gave them a 1 Star because no stars wasn’t available. Do not buy from this company. Communication is terrible. Our house wasn’t complete when we bought it and was told to write down every issue for our 90 day. I made the 90 day list and Fran’s reply was “not covered-not on original walk.” Rust stains from workers leaving their tools in the tubs and showers, paint not professionally done, missing door plates, no caulk on backsplash or around tubs, carpet coming apart in the doorways, cracks in brick columns outside, dryer vent outside wasn’t secured with hardware, the list goes on and on. And I wouldn’t have an issue with the repairs except it’s like pulling teeth trying to get them done and now they are saying most on my list won’t be covered due to not on the original walk. Not a reputable company. I wish we would have waited until the house was complete before signing and even then not sign until all repairs are done. Fran and Jay need to find another job as they both are terrible to work with.

DO NOT BUILD YOUR HOME WITH, OR PURCHASE FROM GEORGE TOMAS HOMES!! We purchased our home last March. It was the previous model home. Lets start from the begging, communication is crap, their receptionist Fran should not have a job in customer service, we purchased our home from across the country and she was rude and arrogant and we should have just moved on from there.
We moved in, couple months go by, we find several issues, make lists of it in the 90 day. Turn in our 90 day form and whatever.
Shortly after turning in our 90 day paperwork, the granite on our center island slid off while I was placing groceries on the lip, I tried to catch it and stop it from crushing my legs and my dogs but it is granite. It went crashing to the floor, shattered the flooring and chipped out the concrete, and shoved the cabinets and frame of the island the opposite way into the cabinets along the wall, the drawers went flying, it was a mess.
After further inspection there was VERY LITTLE TO NO caulking holding the granite to the island.
Fast forward, after sending millions of emails and trying to get it fixed. The Granite company now makes a different version of our granite, it is not the same color. So the company said we will either have to have a mismatched island or replace all of the granite in the whole kitchen. We tried to match the colors they do have to see if we could pull off a different color and we can not. So we have to get all new granite.
They sent someone to “fix” the island and all the damage that was caused to the cabinets and the flooring. The flooring was finally fixed after weeks of waiting and the island still looked like crap so we tore it out and had a new one put in.
We had spoken with the granite company and told them we will pay the extra for the extra square footage of the island but we were all under the understanding that GTH would be paying for the rest of the granite, as we paid for a new home with all matching granite, and their craftsmanship could have costed me my legs, my dogs lives and did cause a lot of shoulder issues from me trying to catch it.Well they are not paying for it. That is problem number 1
Problem number two all the houses drain into our backyard and flood up against our foundation, we told them and asked them to come fix it. They “fixed” it by moving the clay a little bit and adding about two inches close to our house so now it pools up and errodes the patio with average rain but with heavy rain still hits the house foundation.
We are paying someone else to regrade the yard and had called the city to have all the electric and everything marked and they told us to contact the builder for the information for the water lines. I did, and I got Fran, that was a fun adventure, she had no idea what she was talking about and went back and forth with me several times before realizing that I had said WATER LINES, and not electrical 30 times.
Problem 3, the rest of the house.
They came to do the 90 day fixes, since day one I have been told by Andrew that I would get a new kitchen light because the one in it is bent and hangs weird. Still have not gotten one.
Our electrical in the house shorts out constantly! I hope you don’t plan to vaccum while the laundry is going. We have a broken door to the breaker box and were told we would have a new one soon and it has been 6 months.
We painted the whole interior of the home and found a 4 inch gap above one of the closets literally, a gap. No sheetrock, no nothing, just a gaping 4 inch gap. Andrew came to “fix” it. He filled it with TAN CAULKING!!! For starters, I was in the middle of painting the walls grey, and five minutes after he left, the caulking fell in. I was left to scoop it out and go to Lowe’s to get patches, and wall putty. So I ended up fixing it myself.
The flooring constantly lifts up or slides, the carpet is thin and crap, even after hammering down all the nails you still feel them as you step. We have since put in wood flooring in the dining room and living room to stop dealing with that.
We replaced the kitchen faucet because it leaked out the side and caused the actual faucet to have zero water pressure.
The backsplash in our mail area is completely crooked.
It has been an adventure
We bought a brand new, FIXER UPPER
We are not the only ones with problems, our neighbors granite is loose on their island, another neighbor had a bathroom window with a full 30% + crooked windowsill, they screwed up the painting on the exterior of one house, the backsplach of one house was crooked and placed in the wrong spot and instead of fixing it write they just hacksawed it, the lists of issues goes on and on.
Everyone looking to get their 90 day items fixed have been waiting for about 6-7 months.
I advise you to look else where

Communication is almost nonexistent, there is no visible craftsman ship in the home, nothing properly measured, everything is crooked. I was surprised that this was not their first construction. The house was still not finished by the 90 day walk through, and all items "repaired" after the 90 day were worse than before.

Our experience with the George Tomas team was absolutely amazing!
Especially working with Shannon Powell who made sure all of our purchasing needs were taken care of, and Jessica Simpson who was a pleasure and a hoot to work with picking out finishes and walk through superintendent Bradley who made sure our dream home was put together with quality and care!
We would and will definitely recommend George Tomas homes to friends and family!!!
