Growing up on construction sites, I gained more than just building experience—I absorbed the values of craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication. My dad, Roger, always said, "Leave the site better than you found it." Those words have guided every project we’ve undertaken at Gerard & Company.
As a family-run, independent construction company, we’ve always put our clients first, ensuring every home reflects our passion for quality. We believe in sourcing the finest handmade materials, working with master tradesmen, and upholding the artistry of homebuilding.
Our story began in 1968 when the Gerard family broke ground on a custom home in the stunning Sabino Canyon of Tucson, Arizona. Since then, our legacy has grown—four contractors and three more Gerards are proudly following in the family tradition.
Now, 57 years later, we continue to build and renovate homes across the country, infusing each project with the same love, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that define the Gerard name.

Choosing a contractor can be a difficult task especially when your personal knowledge of the building trades is limited. I chose Paul and Gerard & Company to manage a remodel of a house that I had purchased and was extremely pleased with the planning and execution of the project.
Seven years after the completion of the project a question came up during a house inspection that I could not answer. I contacted Paul and he answered the same day. Paul and his subcontractor were able to answer all of the inspector's questions. It is not every day that you find that level of customer service and attention ot detail. I would highly recommend Paul and Gerard and Company. -

Paul Gerard built a beautiful custom-designed 2000 square foot Santa Fe style home on one acre Tucson mountain lot in the Starr Pass section of town for me in 2004. He was very much on hand and responsive to my needs and any changes I wanted. I was very satisfied with his work and the work of his talented subcontractors. Paul is exceedingly honest and fair and competitive in his pricing. After ten years my family had grown considerably, and two years ago I asked Paul to design and construct a 500 square feet apartment to add to the original home a couple of rooms plus a handicapped bathroom and kitchenette. Again Paul worked with me on the design and was very responsive to me and my wife as to our specific needs. The end result was marvel in terms of high quality. It was so seamlessly added to our home that it appeared to have been there from the beginning. I have received many compliments on the home and I would highly recommend Paul for any residential construction project.

I am a real estate investor in Arizona. I worked with Paul Gerard to design a cost effective design/floor plan for a spec custom home. Paul provided incredible insights during the planning/bid phase about how we could create value and helped build the construction budget that was used to secure financing for the project. I also worked with Paul on an extensive renovation of my personal residence. Renovating your home is always stressful but Paul's project management style and quality subcontractors really helped make the whole process less hectic, particularly for my wife. I highly recommend Gerard & Company for your next construction project.

Mr Gerard visited my home to explore options for a project I wanted completed. He was on time, personable, professional and flexible. He stated clearly information pertaining to permits, restrictions and cost. He gave off his time freely and was never anything other than thoughtful and considerate of my inexperience and answered all my questions. I will use his company for this project and others. He's a 'go to' guy. I had to put this project on hold due to a sudden emergency, but he and I will be meeting again soon.
