I urge you not to hire this company to do any work for you.
I hired Gerry Mechanical to install a uncased coil onto a furnace unit in my home.
I gave him a check for $3,000.00 and he sent out a worker to complete the job.
I had this work done right as the winter was turning into spring hoping to get a early start for the upcoming summer season.
Then when the season came for me to turn on my newly installed air conditioning unit, that's when I noticed problems.
the top of the coil, would freeze up, I would get leakage at the bottom of the furnace and I began to notice water damage on the enclosed area of my back porch.
I called Gerry on numerous occasions and I got no answer.
this went on for months.
Finally, I got a response and the technician came out to view the damage.
Once there, he apologized for the damage and stated that he could return on the next day to make the repairs.
The next day turned into three days of calling and getting no answer. i even called from a number unfamiliar to them and they answered but when they realized it was me they immediately pretended that there was a problem with the reception and hung up.
It has been a week and no response, no reply no nothing. I am trying to figure out a way to file a complaint with a governmental body so that I can recoup my monies or get the work done in a corrected manner.
these people lack integrity, character and I plead with you to go and seek out another Heating and AC Contractor to perform your work
