    Full House renovation
    $120,000

I love this company, they are very professional in what they do and the truth is that they exceeded my expectations. Gerson was a very understanding and professional person in our home and went above and beyond to help us renovate it after a contractor stole $35,000 from us and we were about to lose our home because it was our first home and we wanted to renovate it and then we hired 1 company that he lied to us and made us believe that we had permits to begin with and in the process we had a fire on the second floor this person disappeared and then thank God and some friends recommended us to Gerson who has been a sell in our lives he helped us with the price and he guided us step by step in the process, the truth was that it was a great blessing in our lives even though when we looked for it we doubted because of the comments it had but the truth was worth the risk and Gerson thank you for everything and continue that God rewards people like you and remember that no one believes if they do not have criticism. Thank you

I am taking the moment now to make a huge favor to many of you looking for a reliable, trustworthy and competent contractor. This is not definitely the one. My family and I went through the worst experience using this company. First of all, Gerson Hernandez, sells himself as a “great, knowledgeable guy,” which indeed, it is totally the opposite when you get to really meet him and work with him. Gerson starts by telling you he has two companies, a company with 15 employees or more, and at the end when you get into contract with him, he tells you “he has no funds,” he has barely eaten and that is a really “poor guy”, to make you feel pity about him (mixing personal with business).

Second of all, Gerson (the electrician) and the crew that he look for plumbing, HVAC are not fully licensed. Gerson uses someone’s license to work in your Project. Who will you contact if you face problems at the end? A GHOST! No one picks up the phone calls.

He is not knowledgeable in many many areas, not to say that he only knows how to do the electrical part of a project and barely!

Let’s start talking about my project: we can even write a novel:

I have to look for another contractor for my 203K loan renovation due to being hesitant about the price that the first contractor gave us. (100k versus Gerson 175k). Gerson sold himself as a very meticulous and detail person that love to do detailing and professional work. Our house was a Cape cope Raised Ranch and we converted into a Colonial with 2 levels and finished basement. The price of $175,000 based on my sketch and the bank appraisal included a “finished basement.” Gerson took “his crew” and checked the house. We submitted the sketch to the architect on March 24, 2022. Gerson checked the plans and said that looked professional and well done. Gerson, as the General contractor, was responsible to check the sketch and plans to make sure everything is correct from beams to walls and all details I provided him were “all included in the plans.”

The demolition started on May 4th, 2022 after getting the permits to do so. Gerson did not cover the house and 2-3 days of rain flooded the whole basement and my brand new appliances located in the garage uncovered! The wooden floors that were supposed to stay and just being refinished and stained by him as a “courtesy” got water and got damage. He was planning that we paid for the floor as well to put LVT after the damage.

We upfront cost since April as he told us he has no funds and the bank only paid for “job that is completed.” We gave him roughly 40,000 dollars for upfront cost and Gerson only paid us about 20,000 front the checks he received from the bank in every draw.

One of his main issues is that he gets mad every time he was running out of money and start asking for more to the owners. The staircases were not even done in phase where the house needed to be painted at the moment were only, paint, floor and finish of Plumbing, electrical and HVAC is missing. The gutter cost was upfront to him 3 times and never did. The stones for the front of the house were purchased in May and he never installed them. Ohhh! Just so you have an idea, he does not even know how to put together a vanity; Gerson needs to pay someone else to do that job too.

The worst part of everything was that he was expecting us to buy the glue, nails and cement to install the bathrooms. Gerson told us that we needed to purchase ONLY THE TILES and that is exactly what we did. Gerson contacted the bank and told the bank that there were various things he did that was not paid and was requesting 17,000 to be paid back to him. What a coincidence that it was almost exactly what Gerson owes us! When the bank sent us his invoice, we were in shock! A fraudulent invoice he created in September to sent to the bank that we weren’t aware of! He was requesting money for the basement as he stated he was not supposed to do a finished basement. Also, everything that was done extra was paid to him. The only thing missing were the extra light as he only did rough in for the electrical part and that money was already deducted from the money he owes us. Two walls, one in the first floor and one in the basement, were already discussed with him to please remove the framing from them as we wanted it all open concept. At that moment, it was only framing done. Gerson clearly told us, and we recorded every single conversation for that same matter, that it was ok that when he starts doing the staircases he will do so and that all changes made to the plans will be revised before rough in inspection. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE DID! Gerson then took advantage from us and made it seem that it was done thinking we did not have a before and after of pictures of when that change was done!

Dont be scammed by this person! He knows nothing but write fraudulent invoices but nothing in regards to construction! He subcontract but know nothing about construction!
