    I’m really thankful I found the team at GHIR Construction. I have never been a do-it-yourself person – I’m just not that talented or so inclined. When asked if I wanted to pick out my own colors/cabinets/countertops - I replied I’d rather be at the beach! Last time a vendor asked me to pick out my choices/colors – it was 5+ years ago and they are still waiting! I realized I was in trouble when I stood in a store for an hour going in circles and ending up with nothing chosen. When I was shopping around for a remodeler this go-around, GHIR asked if I wanted to work with one of the design consultants – I leaped at that choice! Their design consultant looked at my outdated kitchen (22-year-old space) and postage stamp size living room and offered me choices of design changes, plus he narrowed down the color/cabinet choices! (I did not have to go to a store and search, he brought them to me to look at). They listened to what I needed and presented me with solutions. Now I have a very beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and functional space throughout the main area that flows. These guys are awesome, the end results were much more than I expected. Not to mention they put up with my endless questions over things I have no knowledge of and responded to all with respect and courtesy. I’ve had neighbors ask me to let them know first if I ever think of moving as they want a shot at buying my remodeled home.     Kitchen and master closet remodel

    We hired GHIR for the 2nd time after taking several proposals from other contractors. Our project was extensive this time around involving the renovation of our kitchen and master closet by enclosing a two story screened in porch, ripping down walls and completely opening up the floor plan. Wes and Jan from GHIR listened to our vision, understood our budget constraints and came up with a design plan that was absolutely perfect, at least on paper. The thing that sets GHIR apart from other contractors/builders is the delivery aspect of the project. We started at the beginning of the Covid-19 craziness and the team was very cognizant of our concerns with different people coming in and out of the house. Every aspect of the project was handled with care. Overseen by Corey Helms as the PM, each of the subs came in, did their craft, and kept everything clean along the way. The project completion was beyond our expectations, on time and on budget. I would highly recommend the team from GHIR for your next project.
