    I hired Gibb Development llc to finish my basement along with other projects in my home. They were very polite and professional. It was a one stop shop for everything that i needed done. I had several options of packages w/wo paint and flooring. Very clean jobsite and respected my home. All work especially drywall and tile was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get work done at their home in the Ashburn, Leesburg area. Also had multiple quotes and they were by far the only class A licensed contractor to give us pricing on the spot. Also had the best pricing out of all the quotes i received. The total cost of our project was 45,000 and was very pleased with what we got done.

    We hired Gibb Development Llc to do our custom basement project in our new broad lands home. Very professional. Their help with the design was outstanding. They were prompt, on time and under budget.
    The custom ceramic tile really made our project look elegant. True craftsman. Would highly recommend for your basement project.

    I had a terrible time dealing with Barry Gibbs, he offered me a turn key basement but only included the bare minimum on the contract: example:
    Full stand up shower - but that doesn't include a shower door
    Vanity - but that doesn't include a mirror
    Turn key basement, but doesn't include basic contractor paint on walls / trims
    poor quality
    - gaps between the dry wall and windows
    - poor quality on drywall where I had to pay extra to the painter to re-sand multiple areas to smooth out the wall
    - over 1 inch gap between the shower pan and the concrete board where water will seep through
    - poor tile quality where the tile lines didn't line up in a number of areas
    - no caulking of any kind for doors / trims

    Barry is a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry. He is a Class A Contractor which is a the top of the chain in all fields. I have worked for him as a journeymen on numerous projects over the years when I lived back East, and his craftsmanship is undeniably the best in the area. He achieves results, is a mentor, and my inspiration to become a general contractor myself in Southern California.He has been an asset to the Northern Va. region,and a successful contractor since 1986. I am sure he and his crew are still at the top of their game, and with competitive pricing. You are in good hands.
