Do not hire Gilbert Loredo or his "business," Roman's Construction for any type of general contracting or home renovation work. We hired Gilbert for a 4-6 week master bathroom remodel, and his subcontractors stopped showing up after week 10. Yes, week 10. While Gilbert himself had not been to the house since week 3, his sub-contractors continued to come 1-2x a week for 10 weeks to do 3-4 hours of work each day. The job was not finished after 10 weeks, and Gilbert stopped responding to texts and phone calls. His subs left tools, trash and dirty water buckets in our unfinished bathroom and have yet to claim them. The work his team did do was sub-par, at best. For example, marble flooring had to be redone after initial try because Gilbert's team didn't lay out the natural stone first to check for discolorations. The tub was installed haphazardly. It was both un-centered and square holes in the new marble flooring were cut despite the tub requiring smaller, round pipes. He is a criminal, poor businessman and all-around liar. Absolutely do not work with him.
