    I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Gilley Custom Homes for a New Home Build. From start to finish, my interaction with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their subpar work, lack of professionalism, and blatant bullying tactics for final payment have left me utterly frustrated and disappointed.
    The construction process began with promises of quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Unfortunately, these promises were empty, as the work that followed was riddled with errors, shoddy craftsmanship, and a complete disregard for industry standards. The walls were uneven, the flooring was improperly installed, and the overall finish was far from the expected quality.
    As if the poor workmanship wasn't enough, the company's unprofessional behavior made the situation even worse. Communication was abysmal, with emails and phone calls often going unanswered for days. When they did respond, it was usually with excuses or attempts to shift blame onto others. This lack of accountability only exacerbated the frustration and delays.
    Perhaps the most infuriating aspect of my experience was their relentless pursuit of final payment before completing the punch list items. The punch list, which consisted of numerous large items that needed to be corrected, was disregarded by Gilley Custom Homes. Instead of addressing these issues promptly, they insisted on pressuring me for final payment, using bullying tactics to try and force me into compliance. It was clear that their primary concern was getting their money rather than delivering a satisfactory project.
    Throughout this ordeal, I reached out to various consumer protection agencies. It's deeply disappointing that a company can operate in such a way, taking advantage of their customers and leaving them with unfinished and unsatisfactory work.
    In conclusion, my experience with Gilley Custom Homes has been an absolute nightmare. Their subpar work, unprofessional behavior, and bullying tactics for final payment have left me extremely dissatisfied and regretful of ever engaging in their services. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring this company to look elsewhere for a reputable and reliable construction partner

    Build a new home

    I was very pleased with every professional step in which Brandom took in building my dream home . I recommend to anyone and everyone to use Gilleys Cunstruction to build their home. What I was truly expressed about during the construction I like many people do make small changes and additional add ons as the house is being built and some of the things were done at no extra charge and the things that did have a change in price it was not exsorbanate. During the building of my beautiful home I was not around to observe because of my profession but I knew and trusted in Brandon to do it right and he did. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give Brandon a 12....I am so pleased retired and enjoying every second of it in my brand new home. Thank you so so much Brandon. Ron Bush

    Billy Gilley Custom Homes is an excellent contractor. He does not do spec homes but builds in 8 or 9 months

    Build home

    Purchased a new home from them in aug 2016. Long story short the home came with a 1 year builders warranty. We have a list of things that needed to be fixed upon moving in, and stuff that was never finished that came up on inspection. We have tried calling/emailing numerous times. After the initial call we did receive a call back saying not to worry even if it was after the year they would get it all done. Well since then no call has been returned. We can't get a hold of them. My husband actually ran into Billy (owner) at buffalo wings and rings and confronted him about not receiving a call back and that we wanted this stuff fixed/finished. Billy basically said he wasn't doing it. Said the house was sold "as is" --it wasn't. Said the warranty was through some other guy. It's not. I have it and it is a builders warranty through them and singed by his son who works for him. I haven't been able to use the guest bathroom because the shower doesn't work. We ended up talking to a plumber who said that this is the fourth call he had received about the same issue from the same builder and it is a design flaw in the actual house. Basically he is a bull shitter and acts one way and tells you one thing but when it comes time to deliver he doesn't deliver anything but poor quality work and lies. Beyond frustrated.

    fix an old permit issue

    I was thankful and impressed at the start of our work relationship, but by the end of the project, I was very very disappointed. Billy decided to not return phone calls and slowed down the productivity of completing the job. I do thank him for taking on the job in the first place, but disappointed in his customer service.

    Brandon was great to work with, he took out an old driveway and replaced it with a new one. I have nothing negative to say about Gilley's Custom Homes. I would definitely recommend him and if I ever needed work done again, I would ask him!
