We had a pool built by Gilrie about 5 years ago. First let me give credit for the good subcontractor he hired for the lanai.
The rest of our experience was terrible.
1. The target date was not met.
2. The paint looked like it had been done by a preschool finger painter.
3.Tiles fell off.
4. The Poole leaked.
5. The pool light could not be replaced by our pool service company because it was incorrectly installed and was glazed in.The worst part of our experience was trying to get Duane Gilrie to stand behind his product. When the light issue came up, I called him about 10 times before he returned my cal (over about 2 months). He finally got back to me and said he would be over the next day to fix it. The next day turned into the next year. He was so bad about about returning calls that I kept track of the number of time I called him. I gave up at 37 and hired an excellent guy from pinch a penny who fixed it quickly and correctly.
If you want a well built pool with no hassles avoid this guy.

Pretty much the same experience as Jeremy D. He never delivered it properly. Just a completely bad experience. Problems went on and on and decided to get help elsewhere. He also not official distributor for some items which made some things just awkward.
