  BIG SCAM ALERT, I am a single father of four kids I called this company because my AC was blowing hot air and Anthony Figueroa the owner of Giovani’s AC show up and change me $450 for a AC Repair leak and recharge , 45minutes later It started blowing hot again ,I call the phone number and the very Nasty Lady on the phone hacked up and she block my phone number,Why are they still in business??How can we stop them??

  100% Scam ** Two guys pulled up in a Dark Gray Dodge van and completely scam you by pretending to fix your AC and have you sign an invoice, tell you to keep the AC off for an hour, so they have enough time to take off. Lady hangs up on you and blocks your number.

  I just reported this company to the BBB because I can't continue to deal with ignorance on the way this company treats their customers.

  All I can say is the receptionist which I believe is the wife is super NASTY, will hang up the phone each time regardless of the number I call from.

  **LIARS and SCAMMERS** I told them my AC wasn't Cooling, they checked Told me there was a leak and that they would have to solder it, and it would cost $375.When I got there all they were doing was putting some stop leak liquid and some Freon and they were in a hurry to leave.it Lasted about a month and I called them and the Lady me Someone would call me back in the afternoon and they never did ,Had to call another more Reputable Company which fixed everthing right away.Other phone numbers they use are these 786-292-3308 and 1 954-624-5412 if it helps anybody else

  clean and diognose ac cooling issue

  I don't know how this company is still in business and licensed. They charged me $380.00 for adding Freon and cleaning. Did not add Freon. Did not clean ac drain line and condenser. Asked Anthony Figueroa tech who is the actual owner of Giovanni's ac after I did some research on the Florida government website on license contractors if ac was good to go and said yes. Waited 2 hours for apt to cool and it did not. Call Giovanni's number and the lady who answered was very nasty and said they are not coming back. Had another company checked the unit and found a leak in the condenser. This Anthony Figueroa is not honest and should be in prison for defrauding customers. I will make a report to the Florida Attorney Generals office and everyone else who posted on Giovanni's Ac should do also.

  They were called to check to see why the 3 week old outside unit (compressor) runs non-stop.
  The technician/owner, Anthony, diagnosed it as a bad contact outside with a bad transformer, circuit board and thermostat inside. He said that it was going to cost $975.00 and that a new unit was going to cost $2200.00. I agreed to the repair only, for $975.00. At this point I gave him $475.00 down with my credit card. 3 hours later, a different technician came and replaced the contact module outside and insisted that the unit will not work properly without a new thermostat. He said that everything else was fine and we confirmed that the unit works fine. A few minutes later, they called for the additionally payment of $500.00 at which point I disagreed and what he wants to charge me and what was replaced. He then said well, give me $250.00 more and finally settled for $100.00 more for a total of $575.00. This is a big big scam having quoted me for unnecessary items that he knew was simpler than that. These folks are scamming innocent consumers like myself. Please help me.

  I would never recommend this place to anyone, except my worst enemy. The technician came out in April , and claimed I had a leak outside. Long story short I had to call again 1 month later and it took them two days to come out. Even though I had a "warranty" he claims that it covered only the outside work. I guess he felt bad and lowered the price. I wish I could give minus 4 star review

  6/30/2018 This is NOT an a/c repair company. It is Gypsy,s that are working South Florida area because it is the start of our hot season. Gypsy,s do a slight of hand magic trick in your face. They make it to APPEAR your a/c system has been repaired. And you being tricked, believe it is. And you GIVE them hundreds of your hard earned money. Then the Gypsy,s disappear. And you can no longer find them, or your money again.

  My A/C was icing up and not blowing cold as it should. I was told by "The Gypsy Professional" I needed to have 140.00 sealer put into the a/c unit. Then when he adds the needed, 6 lbs of freon at 30.00 a pound, it will not leak out. 2 days after I paid them, my a/c was icing up and blowing warm air as before. I cannot get them to respond to me or my concerns. They have what they wanted. My money. They are a scam operation.

  Our a/c was freezing up, and the house would become warm. We could turn off the central a/c unit, and wait a few minutes, and then start up the a/c again, in which it worked until it froze up again. We had called Giovanni's and they sent over a technician, who said we had a leak and needed to add about 10 pounds of freon. He mentioned that the freon is $30 a pound, and labor was $29, plus costs for pouring $139 refrigerant sealant leak repair solution into our a/c unit lines. The refrigerant sealant leak repair substance was suppose to cure our problem of a leak, and as he was leaving he mentioned verbally (not on receipt anywhere), that we have up to one year full warranty on the refrigerant sealant. So, if anything happens, he guaranteed us that it should work, but otherwise, he'd come to our house and replace everything for free. We had our a/c checked by this technician, and allowed him to pour the refrigerant sealant repair substance into our system, and also the 6 pounds of freon. He charged my card $313.00 and left. One month later, our a/c began freezing up again, over and over, again and again...the same scenario as before it was supposedly repaired. We gave him our money for nothing...looking back in my memory, I remember him leaving our house, and as he was leaving the door, he probably knew we would lose freon again, but he had to rob us of our money. He kept insisting that it would never become warm again, since he fixed our problem, all done and said with a big deceiving smile on his face. My husband called Giovanni's and spoke with someone who said they'd have the technician call us back. It has been three days, and we haven't heard back from him. The so called one year warranty was for one year...too good to be true...terrible we fell for that...the way he is avoiding the verbal warranty, is he just simply never calls back. This is a rude awakening to us, since he was so convincing, and then I began researching online about this business, and have read all the comments, and they all have the same situation and problems with their a/c units as we do. This is terrible, and we are thinking of disputing our payment with our bank as soon possible. I hope other innocent good people (like all of us), don't fall for this trap, as why I am writing this report.

  SERVICE IS terrible, they came over to fox my ac and they ripped me off for over 200 dollars and the work not even done. I called a lady over the phone and she was very rude. I don't think they have a valid license number so I can call to report it. I think the law should be aware of it, after all the reviews I've seen posted about all the awful experiences.

  Find and resolve the issue as to why my A/C was not cooling

  Unfortunately, I made the mistake of responding to this scam of an A/C Service. As written in a previous review, I responded to one of their written signs for A/C repair. It noted 'Freon $29' and the phone number of 305 303-0765.

  My A/C was not cooling so I have them a call. A technician came the next day with what appeared to be a trainee but that too was probably just a front.

  Before they began, they asked me to sign their service & repair bill that had no information on it other than my name, address and service charge. I asked why and they said that it was just noting that I was agreeing to the $29 charge to assess the problem. So, of course, I signed.

  Next, I was shown a gauge and told that I was low on Freon and that I needed 6 additional pounds. Great! I asked them then to top it right up. My system seemed to be cooling properly and all was good. The 2 guys weren't there even a total of 15 minutes. As they completed their work, one guy went to the truck to place a contact sticker on the unit for future reference and the other guy went inside the truck to fill out the rest of the invoice. I received my invoice and then they left. I had to then head off to work so I just left my invoice at home on my table and didn't give it a closer read.

  A few days later, my A/C stopped cooling so I called the company back and explained what had happened. The rude woman on the other end of the phone then told me that I refused their recommendation to fix the slow leaks and if I wanted another serviceman to come out and do the repair? I told her that I had no idea what she was talking about and that nothing was pointed out to me other than that I needed my Freon topped up. I also then pointed out that why would I fill up the unit with Freon IF I knew in advance that there were leaks? That would be pointless. I then asked to speak to a Supervisor and requested the same gentleman to come out to do the proper service work that they should have done in the beginning. Well, she just became more rude and told me that would not happen and to call someone else for the repair.

  Definitely nice scam they have going. The phone number on their invoice is 786 262-1568. Different from the one on their hand written signs. So, one last attempt, I called that number which only brings once and then stops. No one answers, etc.

  Bottom line, thsee people know exactly what they're doing before they even set foot into your home. They're not coming over to fix anything other than their pocketbooks.

  Stay as far away from this 'company' as you can. Giovanni's A/C is utter garbage. I imagine their 305 number will probably be out of service soon once they tap out all the people in this area and the complaints start rolling in. I'm sure they just keep changing their numbers on their written signs frequently. I must admit, pretty smart scam for 15 minutes of their time. Took me for $160.00

  EXTREMELY DISHONEST COMPANY!!!! My A/C wasn't blowing cool air, a technician came and put 8 pounds of Freon and charged me $300 and he didn't even check the actual leak. 2 weeks later no more cool air so I called back knowing that it was under warranty and their VERY rude and disrespectful secretaries didn't let me talk and told me that it is not the Freon but ducts problem that they don't fix. They STOLE $300 from me by putting Freon and not repairing the actual pb because that is how they make their money. I lost all my Freon and a technician from another company told me that the model of Freon mentioned on the receipt IS NOT the same that they actually put in my a/c and the sticker confirms it. Also, I don't have any ducts problem. I wish I can save someone from dealing with that kind of people who are a DISGRACE to that world and make the world a horrible place to live in. STEALING money from honest people is a SIN!!!. I hope that my experience will save someone from using their services.

Guy came 1hr later acts all nice says he fixed it then told me wait 1 hr to turn on my a/c . charged me $345.00 plus the 29.00$ check fee . WELL 1 hr later I turn my a/c on and NOT working.   They charged me $450 to fix the AC which was still broken when they left. I contacted my credit card company and in the dispute documents this company sent them an altered receipt. The altered receipt shows as if they provided "No warranty" to me. And that my charges were only for CLEANING. Be careful.

  DO NOT USE THEM. If we could rate this company less than 1 star we would. We have used them twice for a/c work and it wasn't until the 2nd time where we felt a little fishy about them. Our AC was freezing up and they first time, they claim to do a whole bunch of work to solve the issue (cost $260.00), but the freezing started up again about 2-3 months later. OUr problem was that we didn't call right away, we called them about 6 months after the 1st visit. We explained that we were having the same freezing problem, this time, it was something outside that needed cleaning. Of course this was $240 (but they did the favor to charge us their 29.00 fee for coming out) Less than a month later, the AC is freezing up again. My husband call and the lady over the phone was rude. She was so rude I wondered how they stay in business. She gave a whole bunch of reasons as to why we were having the same issue, but when my husband would refute that, she would say well I'm not a technician... It's terrible that these people can operate a business and get a way with it. We are going to file a small claims suit against them, b/.c after this last call we looked up their license and it does not seem to be valid. My advise would be DO NOT USE THEM!

  This is an air condition scam in Miami! They put white signs all over Miami Dade and Broward, in black marker. Do not call these people. They are shameless thieves!!! I made the mistake of paying them $200 PLUS in cash. And my AC never turned back on and they never answered the phone again.

  Believe what you have read. This company is fraud, fraud. They lie and try to steal your money and suggest for you to do additional work. Never again. I complained to BBB about them.
  The AC tech came to my house later than scheduled time. I had to go to work, he stated he add 1pound of freon because i did not need it. He suggested I clean the coil for $350.00. I refuse additional work. When I had another technician check he did not put any freon. The AC Unite keep shutting down after 3 seconds. Don't ever, ever deal with this company. They tried to make $39.00 from me. I called my bank and stopped payment. He also broke my AC filter that was replaced recently.

  Last year, the A/C in my office suddenly failed to work (it could not blow out cold wind). I called “Giovannis A/C” company and they sent a technician come to my office on July 3rd. After a short check, he told me that the CONDENSER was broken and it need be changed. I paid him $750 after he finished his job. He said the room temperature would decrease soon. However, after one hour the A/C still did not work (no cold wind came out). I called the company immediately and the person at the company asked me to wait a long time. After another hour the room temperature still was the same and then I called the campaign again . The person who picked up said it should be fine the next day.
  
  When I went to my office on 6th of July the AC still did not work. I asked the company to send someone to my office to take a check but they made a lot excuses (from the weather to the duct system, unit size, and etc) refusing to do so.
  
  I then asked another AC repair company came to my office to fix my AC in next day. To my surprise, the technician told me that he did not see any replacement on the condenser nor any problem! The real problem is on the break of electronic board. The price was $ 248.

  I called for A/C repair as my unit was blowing but not cooling. I should have looked at the complaints in BBB first...it turns out there are seven! Giovanni's said they would check the A/C and give estimate for repair for $29. which would be used towards the repair if I chose to do it. The technician came dumped 9.5 lbs of Freon, replaced the little valve on the front. Total time he was here including doing payment... 15-20 minutes. The technician, who was the owner of the company, did not check anything other than how much freon was in the unit. I paid $299.The A//C worked for about 2 days. I called back they sent a different technician who checked the unit and said there was a leak. Well, yes...but why did the first technician, not check the first time? I called the office they said it would be an additional $280. and I would also have to refill it with freon but they were going to refill for free. Well gee that's nice but I told them that if the estimate had been originally for $579. I would not have done the work with them or at the very least I would have gotten another estimate. The leak in the coil was visible and easily accessible for repair, it simply needed a few drops of solder. I said I would pay an additional $100 and no more and that the first technician should have checked for leaks. The woman on the phone became rude and irate. That's why I'm writing this review. She was profane and unprofessional. The technician, who actually seemed like a nice person, left. I called another A/C company. The first thing they did was check for leaks. They fixed the leak, filled it with 13.5 lbs of freon and were very professional. Total charge $200. I will be disputing the Giovanni charge with my bank and I will only pay for the original $29. estimate. JUST STAY AWAY from this company.
