Poorly organized. Lots of lip service to get you in the door. Failure to follow through on every level. Lost a lot of time and money with the Fresno franchise. Highly not recommended.

The best thing about using these folks is no matter what or how big the problem is it is never the fault of this contractor. It will always be the homeowners no matter what based on our experience. I wished we would have had a real estate attorney review the "Mafia Style", contracts we signed off everything in Kens favor.
The house they built would have been a great value if the cabinets on the original contract were the cabinets they installed. Ken did offer to make them almost like the correct cabinets at our expense. See how that works?
There were plenty of issues along the way besides the cabinets like a major change in our master bathroom we never agreed on but Ken reluctantly corrected (that's how we build them now he said).
I have talked to other recent customers that had not been too thrilled at how they were treated by this office so I know it is not just us. This a franchise unlike so many others. Eat at Wendy's. Your food comes in a bag. On that bag is a phone number for comments. I could not find anywhere to voice my comments to anyone up the food chain for this company. I find that strange indeed. I would welcome a call from someone anyone?
Now for the good stuff which needs to be brought up too: They use Tile Tech for that trade. Brad's work was perfect. Alfonso on the framing crew framed our house perfectly and the project manager Jeff got high reviews from us and other customers as a very personable and caring professional.
I think GJ Gardner has a winning formula for building value in the marketplace they serve, and yes we would do it again, but we would not use this office.
Makes me wonder why there are no recent reviews for these folks. They have completed at least five houses in the last six months that we are aware of.
