Gl electric came to instal a light in our home. When the light was installed the fixture was making a loud buzzing noise to with the electrician told us "wait till you are old and you wont hear it anymore." He TAPED the light to our ceiling and left. The light was flickering and buzzing which we sent the company pictures of. He told us the light have something wring with it and thats why its buzzing however he used a saw to cut a hole in the frame so at this point if the light was broken we could not return in. 3 days later the light fixture fell off of the ceiling because it was taped on, thankfully my 2 year old child was not awake in the kitchen to be injured. I am in shock of the service they have given. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I had the worst experience with this company. The first time Jean and his helper came out, they didn't install the light fixture to code, damaged the frame with a massive hole which they tried to cover up, the light made a loud buzzing noise and flickered, didn't secure the frame to the ceiling, they used double sided tape and never put in the support screw. When I called back to inform his boss (his wife) she apologized and said they will be out to fix the issues. The next day Jean and his helper came back. They were extremely rude and finally admitted to all the wrong doings and said they weren't able to fix them due to them not having the correct supplies at the time and needed to order a new light fixture due to the damages. A couple days later, the frame fell and caused damage to the kitchen. When I called the company they didn't seem to make the damage urgent and said we will get out there to fix it when they can. A week later Jean showed up and dropped off a new light fixture and left. He didn't install it. I must say, GL Electric should loose their business/license. Extremely negligent, rude, and unprofessional. A very big waste of time and money dealing with this company. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY NOT FOLLOWING CODES AND COMMITTING FRAUD.
