Permits

This electrician was hired by the seller of the home we just bought in Beavercreek Ohio to state that the Federal Pacific circuit box in our home was safe and did not need replaced.
Our inspector and every other electrician disagreed. Federal Paicifc boxes have been known to cause fires and the companty went out of business.
After stating the FP box was unnaceptable and we would not purchase the home with that box, the seller dictated that Glenn Lewis Electric replace the FP Box and we split the cost.
We have lived in the home for three months and the power for a whole row of lights went out. The electrician we called looked in the circuit box and saw that one of the main thick wires had the plastic coating shredded off, exposing the copper and causing an electrical arc. The other wires were all sloppily bent into place and Glenn Lewis Electric hacked up the drywall.
Our new electrician said this was a fire hazard and that we were lucky the house did not burn down.
