Glenn Thompson is one of the nicest contractors I have ever met. He really cares about his customers, and has an attention to detail like I haven't seen. I would recommend his company to anyone!! Especially if you need help deciding which way to go on certain design elements. He guided us through the whole process and made sure we got what we wanted for our budget!!

I signed a contract with Glenn Thompson Contracting, Inc. on March 24th, 2016 to build a home located in Wendell, NC. As of 1/17/2017, no home and no refund of deposit. The initial completion date was scheduled for November 15, 2016. I have provided Glenn with a deposit of $19835.00

Mr. Glenn Thompson, I just want you to know that I am very disappointed in you. You took my money to build me a house and yet did not even break ground by the time the house was suppose to be closed. I asked for my money back and you said you would give it back to me. Yet I have not seen one cent of my money. It's amazing that the day after I gave you money down on the house you were suppose to build that you show up in a brand new truck. Seems to me you need to start walking and go get my money. I will be going out of my way to make sure everyone knows how crooked you are. I know there are many others you owe more money to than you owe me. This post is also to let everyone know that might come to this site to know not to use you as a contractor. I have no doubt that you will have the post removed but hopefully it will reach several before you find out about it. Yes I still expect to have my money returned to me and I think 3 months should have been plenty of time for you to get the money back to me. Times up.

Absolutely terrible!! Do not use this company he is going bankrupt and you will lose out big time. He lies to everyone. Has no communication or supervision on any of his projects. I could go on and on. If you do unfortunately use him..get every single thing in WRITING!! even then it will come back and bite you. Not sure how he is still in business

I have never been lied to so many times in my life. He has been promising a finish date since July 15. He just keeps pushing it back one month a time. Now we are looking at mid November. Build quality seems to be fair, but we have to keep an eye on every little detail. I highly recommend looking at other contractors.

Wow! Glenn built our home and it is beautiful! We had the best experience that we have ever had with a contractor. He helped us to customize our home plan and made several improvements during the build. Anyone who has ever built a home before understands that it is rare for the project to stay on time simply because there are many subcontractors and if you want it right, which to me is the most important, then setting your expectation for delays is best. Having said that, our home was recently finished within a month of original expectation and we heard from Glenn within 24 hours when we had questions. Our home has appraised for $285,000 upon completion and has custom built cabinets, granite counter tops, custom closets and is the finest home that we have ever built - thanks to Glenn and team!
