On March 30, 2021 we entered into a contract with Veasy at Glenn Construction to build our dream pole barn. We gave Veasy a sizeable deposit after getting a very good referral from a friend. We did our research and went to view several pole buildings Veasy had built in the area. It's now September and we have no pole barn and Veasy is refusing to refund our deposit. There are not two sides to this story. There is the truth and there are lies from Veasy. Truth - Veasy claimed he was going to use our deposit to purchase material for our building. That was never done. Veasy claimed he would start the project in mid-July. Veasy had a series of excuses why he could not start construction until mid-August then asked for more money to complete the excavation. That was never done. Mid-August came with more excuses why he could not start. Truth - Veasy claimed he was going out of business and wanted to refund our money. He now is refusing a refund and claims he has no money. Now also claiming his son's who are working with him are going out of business. Pathetic when other contractors in our area are making tons of money.

Just like the others he's a con man ,he took my deposit then reneged, give 5000 back after we'd given him almost 13000 ,and he's not man enough to return calls or messages, so there's no excuse.,the law will talk to him now not us.

A one star review is too good for him. BUYER BEWARE! Veasy Glenn of Veasy Glenn Construction is a con-artist. He signed a contract with us to build a pole barn, took an $11,374.75 deposit, made us wait 3 months and then told us he cannot build our project and claims he cannot return our deposit because "he doesn't have it". He also did this to someone we know, taking $18,500 from him! We have tried to work with him, offering him a payment plan which he rejected and also offered a trade for him to settle the debt. He is not interested in doing the right thing. This man has no integrity!! Beware of Veasy Glenn or Glenn Veasy or Eric Veasy or whatever he is calling himself these days!
My 40' x 60' shop was built by Veasy prior to Covid shutdowns. They had it built on time and on budget and they did a fantastic job. I have a quality structure and now have some additional projects that I was hoping to use Veasy for. Though no longer building (another business victim of Covid) he did still offer some possible solutions and advice that I'm thankful for.
