Job was to replace existing HVAC system which involved two air conditioners and two furnaces (one basement/one attic) with a multizone (5) system with no units (nor duct work)in the attic so that humidification could be added with no risk of freezing. This required the design and construction of soffits on the second floor. Additionally a water heater was replaced (tank for tankless) Out of a dozen or so potential contractors, GCHC&A was one of about four willing to do the job as desired (most refused to address system location or duct work). GCHC&A provided one of the most reasonable/competitive bids even when including others which were only swapping/replacement existing equipment. Marcus showed great care to make sure everything was done neatly and in an aesthetically pleasing way. He also made effort to ensure we were spending money in a smart way (not doing things that would not provide the desired benefit). As an indication of how we felt about the way the work was done, we hired GCHC&A for other non-HVAC related projects as well.

Marcus from Global was very quick to respond to our request for a quote, I had gotten numerous quotes, not only was he the cheapest, but made it possible to keep my project right on budget and schedule. I will absolutely use them again, and have already referred him to several associates. Even though this was a small project he made us a priority.

I hired Marcus to replace my pre-existing gas boiler with a new system. I was interested in using my existing air conditioning vents and converting my old boiler to a heat pump with an auxiliary gas forced air furnace. Every HVAC professional I spoke with told me that was not a good idea. When I brought it up with Marcus, he thought about it, and said that it was a possibility but he needed to check some parameters to ensure that my house would be cooled and heated appropriately. After carefully inspecting the current venting system, he told me that he thought it was not only possible, but also May save me some money. He really thought outside of the box, and I ended up with a great system, a great price, and now PECO tells me that I'm one of the more efficient energy users in my neighborhood! This, after being one of the greatest users of energy for the past 20 years! Very happy with all aspects of Marcus's work. Would hire again and would not hesitate to recommend.
