    Install hurricane windows

    He hired subcontractors who did a bad job and now after two hurricanes, I have mold in my home from the hurricane windows installed under his contractor’s license. Avoid him like the plague.

    Replace Windows

    It has been over a year since the windows were installed and since that time I have called them and explained that four windows were not the models that we requested. The picture frame windows were supposed to be 8800 models and the second floor two front windows were supposed to be 8400 models. During the installation I noticed that the windows were the reversed models. I called them immediately and informed them. They stated that they would have them in a couple of weeks, they just needed to discuss this with the installer so he can check his availability on his schedule. Once the installer left, I did not hear back from them at all. I couple multiple times and got your voicemail. After a few months, I finally was able to get in touch with them and reminded them of the situation. This time they told me that you had to look up the status of the windows, which should have been at your warehouse in Carrollton, TX, and they would call me back. You never did. I got in touch with you a few weeks later and you told me that they didn't have an installer available. I waited a couple of weeks again to see if they would be able to find an installer that could come out and switch out the windows, but when I called, this time I got in touch with different person. When I brought up the situation, she didn't know what I was talking about and told me that she would investigate the situation and would call me back. She never did. This repeatedly happened. The last time I spoke to them, they mentioned that there was no installer available. I asked if they can send an installer from your location to do the job and you told me that was not possible.

    Those windows still haven't been changed up to today.

    I am truly disgusted by their lack of commitment and integrity. I will not recommend them to anyone not will I do business with them again.

    install new windows and doors

    Global Source Windows and Doors is all talk and no action. I ordered new windows throughout my home, six weeks later they were installed, except for a sliding glass door which took another additional month. Some of the windows do not operate properly and parts were left off of the installation. I also ordered a new front door and after four months I still haven't seen it. I called many times but very seldom get someone to answer the phone and they do not return calls when messages are left. I would not do business with this company again.

    Install door and storm door
    $300

    Hi. I had Dan come and give me a quote to put in a door and a storm door.

    1. Gave me a quote of X amount of dollars. After installation the quote he gave me changed to a higher X amount of dollars.
    2. After Dan and his employer left the next day I vacummed. I moved the rug that was I front of ther door and noticed a chunk of tile was missing.
    3. They were supposed to come back and fix the stucco and paint the new stucco within a few days. I bought through paint and they never showed. I asked to just have the stucco done and I would paint it...to this day nobody has came.
    4. During this time I have noticed that the new crown molding that was installed around the inside of the door was cracked, I was told the guy shot the nail too close and cracked it. Also, the bottom of my storm door was cut and and bent and you can see where putty was used to cover it up.

    I will not use them again. Get everything in writing if you use them!
