GHC has a nice house, but the builder is super shady and unfortunately he’s the only one around this area to buy a GHC home so your stuck with him. Gordie is very unprofessional and is quite the liar. If you buy from him record every conversation and document everything because he’s a true salesman and not a builder.

this owner-contractor of glorified homes (gordy grant) developed a home across from us. During this construction the drive into our complex was damaged by trucks coming in during construction of this house. We asked Mr. grant personally at least twice if he was going to fix the road as it was hazardous to drive on. Mr. Grant told us he would fix the road and we even have a promissory voice mail from one of his developers that when they were finished, they would put the road back to the condition it was before. They filled a few holes with dirt only when the original road contained gravel. Currently there are pot holes at the end of our driveway and throughout the road. This shows us that even though he agreed to fix the road as before, he used inferior methods to repair the drive, even after we complained to him several times by calling his office. What kind of business owner would promise a repair and not go through it as it was supped to be?

Gordie Grant is a great salesman with no follow through. After being in our home for 8 months there are still several things that need to be finished. He will not return phone calls or emails. Once he has your money he disappears. At 1st glance it appears as if you are saving money by going with this company but there are many little things that aren't included in the cost. Do not use this builder! Buyer beware!
