By Linda B.October 27, 2019I stall new hot water heater and repair leaks in the crawl space caused by inadequate winterizing.$1,250Response from Gmc Contractors, LLC January 18, 2021While we thank Linda for the opportunity to do her job, we are not sure why she would report we left her "high and wet". We most surely did no such thing and in fact, quite the opposite. Our expert crew replaced a hot water tank for you perfectly and remedied a number of safety issues assorted with the original install at no extra charge. Upon completion and in the process of turning on the water noticed the entire cabin (yes, a summer only use) needed completely re-piped and entire water supply system including fixtures replaced. We made our customer aware of what needed to be done for us to properly fix her plumbing issues, but she insisted we could do partial repairs that we were not comfortable with doing. We completed all the initial work we were paid for, and never started any further work because of our differences on how we should proceed with the rest of the repairs. We never have nor would ever not complete something we were hired to do.... we just chose to not continue with this project after our professional opinion was ignored. Left high and wet. . . The work they did was ok but the work was more involved than originally quoted and they left me high and. . . wet. Even with an additional quote (which I was considering) to complete the work, they stopped responding to my emails, texts, calls, etc. Not the way you want a professional organization to be run. Very disappointed.
