Gold Star paving Fixed my problem. I had a job done in the spring of 16 and for one reason or another I had cracks in the main driveway lane a few months later. I called Bucky and he said it would be best to wait till the summer to fix. I was concerned that he was just putting me off but he really just wanted to fix the issue the right way. He got busy in the summer and I waited a bit longer into the fall but he didn't forget and went above and beyond fixing the issues. My driveway looks great again. Thanks to Buck and his Crew.

The driveway looked ok when it was done. Within 2-3 weeks it developed several long cracks. I called and Buckey told me he would have someone come to fix it the next week. Nobody came! To make a long story short I contacted him 6+ more times in the next 2 and a half to 3 months. All I got was his word. My driveway most likely will not last the winter. Do not hire them.

Gold Star Paving did everything they said they were going to do, on time & on budget. They asked me several times if I was completely satisfied, before being paid. Highly Recommended. My driveway looks amazing!!

Buck is a scamster. Lied about the entire operation. Said it was a 3 day project then completed it in 8 hrs. When I ask he said I had a great base so thier wasn't as much prep work but the price was the same. 5 months later my driveway is all busted up and Buck takes my call but acts like he doesn't know who I am and never comes out to fix issues. Complete SCAM. Stay away.

They came when they said they would. The job was done quickly. They took care of all my concerns (which were not big ones) quickly. The work was done as they said. Driveway looks good.

Gold Star is a first class paving company. They do QUALITY paving at a very economical price. I used them for my personal residence and a winery. Both results were OUTSTANDING. Plus they clean up after they're finished with the project. Very courteous and easy to work with Bucky Eddington and his employees. I asked him today to please come back and leave his yard sign.
The job was done to exactly what he quoted which was a very good Value.
I am very pleased with his work.
Thank you Gold Star Paving -

I would NOT recommend GoldStar Paving to anyone. This company IS A JOKE. They do not stand behind their work. They damaged our existing driveway that cost $6,000.00 to install. The existing drive was 8 months old when they came in and added a turnaround. The turnaround was garbage. It would not drain. They didn't put down a stone as a base as their contract stated and the piece was wavy and cracking. Bucky Edgington actually brought in a burning torch to burn off some of the asphalt claiming it would allow the water to drain off the driveway. It didn't work and only left a crumbled divot in the driveway. We took him to court. Had to wait a year and then take him back to court because he did not fix the damage. We were awarded 1/2 of the $6,400 we asked for in damages and he had his attorney threaten to file an appeal to the judgment 2 hours before the deadline to appeal so we ended up with $2,900 and we had to pay $1,040 to our attorney. This company is run by crooks. DO NOT USE THEM.

My experience working with Goldstar was ok. He guarantees his work. Not true. Driveway looked nice for about 7 months then the sides of driveway started cracking really bad. I called Bucky the owner and he said he would fix it. It's now been 4 months and no response. He doesn't answer emails and telephone calls. So I have to take legal action to see if I can get them to fix my driveway. Just remember all that glitters isn't Gold. As in gold star paving. I definitely wouldn't recommend Goldstar paving.

We were not planning on doing our driveway this year until our neighbors got theirs done. When he gave us the price, which was quite a bit lower than we thought it would be due to low oil prices and basically no overhead being a family business, we figured now would be the most economical time to do it. He came out the next day and got started. We weren't ready for the asphalt. The cement apron was busted up and cracked due to age in front of the garage and the driveway needed dirt taken out and gravel needed put down. Bucky took care of it and included it in the price. He scraped the dirt out of the driveway and popped the cement out with his loader. Then he brought a triaxle load of gravel to put down. He put the asphalt down the way I wanted it and put it down thicker than he said he would. The road we live on was paved a few years ago which raised the elevation of the road almost a foot above my driveway. Now the driveway has a nice gradual taper to the road and doesn't have to worry about my 73 Monte Carlo scraping pulling in and out. The way we look at it, we got a lot of work done for what we paid for. Plus we can drive heavy equipment on this driveway and don't have to seal it every year due to this asphalt being road grade. What a great crew. Hard working, courteous, and do more than expected to make sure you are satisfied. Fair price. Driveway was paved only 2 days after my phone call, no weeks of waiting. They did detail work around sidewalks, etc.
Highly recommend. Ron and Connie -

I had Gold Star Paving do my driveway just this week. Bucky & his whole crew were very professional & courteous & did an outstanding job. They had to excavate some of the driveway & grass to get the proper base for the paving & the crew hand-spread the excess dirt where I wanted it, even separating the sod from the dirt. Gold Star made sure that we were completely satisfied, including cleaning up, before accepting payment & leaving the job. My driveway looks great. The price was right. What more can you ask for! I would highly recommend Gold Star Asphalt Paving.

I and my wife Joyce have never experienced such a professional team of workers with one thing in mind, to provide the best paved driveway around. The team of Bucky Eddington along with JJ his son, Jason, the salesman, who led us through with all questions in a professional manner and the fellows with their leader ANTHONY who watched over all aspects of the job. You can tell by their workmanship that they share a pride in what they do. We would be proud to speak on their behalf Jim/Joyce Becker

Bucky took no money up front. Said they'd be there in the morning to pave my driveway. Left their truck and trailer overnight. I went to work in the morning. My wife texted me later that they were there in the morning and worked steady all day. When I got home my driveway was done and property all cleaned up. I called Bucky so I could pay him. He came right out. He hadnt left a yard sign but I told him he could. The job was done when, and as, he said it would be and on budget. We're very pleased. Thank you Gold Star Paving

Bucky Eddington is a thief, and a scam artist. When he came to do my family's motel parking lot, he was hand tamping spots that should have been rolled, covered our man hole to the sewer with asphalt despite being reminded of it multiple times, tore our exterior fire extinguisher off the building, in less than 8 months the edges of the lot are crumpling apart, and the entire lot is riddled with cracks. To be honest, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Another thing to note, is that his company wasn't called " gold star paving " at the time. It was called quality paving. We still have his card. After doing some research, we found that he travels the east coast as the weather changes, scamming people left and right. Everytime he is sued for his negligent work and poor services, he changes the business name and number. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN HE WILL SCAM YOU!
