    The Contractors State License Board shows that his license#1044362 is under suspension for lack of qualifier. I should have checked his license before hiring him because Alon Tzafar's Gold Star Remodeling uses duct tape and silicone to repair my roof. He also caused created more cracks and holes.

    Considered for Pool Remodeling and Landscaping

    This has been a disappointing and horrible experience. The gold star asked for $20,000 to remodel our swimming pool (just plastering and tiling and copping), which we later find out is much higher than the usual market price. His work was very rough. And he turned out very rude and angry even in front of our young daughter. A few copings he replaced are chipped. The pool’s demo was horrible—according to other professional swimming remodeling companies. The person also stopped the job half way because he was unwilling to correct his mistake—he left a big gap between the copings and the floor, and he filled it with cement! Very ugly! And he cheated on us by saying that he has already picked the samples of the pavers for us which he never did! I wouldn’t hire this person again, and In fact, I am writing to warn people about this company. before he disappeared, he even wanted to ask $6000 more from us! All these are huge red flags!!

    So happy we found Alon for our kitchen and flooring remodeling! As new homeowners who were so clueless to remodeling, he explained things so clearly and fairly priced. We had a lot of unexpected things come up through the inspection process but Alon helped us navigate the process as best as possible. Alon was very timely getting things done and made a stressful process as painless as possible. Our kitchen is beautiful and happy we chose Alon and look forward to working with him again.

    Gold star remodeling Inc completely remodeled our kitchen (including removing a wall ). Alon made the process as simple and our accommodations were comfortable and convenient during the remodel. We love our new kitchen. Let me add that before we decided on 3Day we had two remodeling companies come over to give us an estimate but they never called us back.
    We looking to remodel our Master bathroom in more 6 months ,No doubt We will use Alon and his company again .

    Called Gold star remodeling after a terrible experience with our first contractor, as the job was never completed. Alon came out discussed our concerns and needs and within 2 weeks our glass enclosure was completed. Thank you Alon & Eliran for a job well done. Our bathroom is amazing !

They did a amazing job on our Kitchen remodel - it's gorgeous, exactly what we wanted, and best of all, we stayed within our budget and the promised timeline.     Kitchen remodel is one of the most costly and time consuming constructions for a home owner. My husband and I were so excited to finally tear down our old kitchen but we had a no idea what to do other than that we had a tight budget and a very limited options on layout of the kitchen.

    I looked for contractors on Thumbtack and found Alon. I had a couple of quotes from different contractors and Alon was the only person who wanted to do it properly with a permit. I am a very detailed oriented person and Alon made sure to take as much time as possible to give me the comfort that I needed. Alon even went with us to pick out our countertop and backsplash because we were so lost and indecisive.

    Our project came with several changes, multiple inspections, and add-on requests. We ended up going from only changing our kitchen to swapping out our entire house floor which Alon was willing to work with. Once the project started, Alon's project manager Eli oversaw everything. Given I had very long hours at work, I'd text Eli very late in the evening with any questions that I had. Eli was always very patient which I appreciated.

    The project took 12 weeks because there were many challenges that came with our house. I'd say the crew did everything they could to expedite the process.

    If you're looking for an honest, fair priced, hard working contractor, I'd highly recommend Gold Star Remodeling. I'll absolutely be requesting Alon, Eli, and his crew to come back for future projects.
