Golden Retrofit & Foundation Repair

I started with a list of over 50 potential companies and knew none of them. I brought my list down to 6 based on experience, license number and reviews. I intended to have 4 of those give me a bid but after Golden Retrofit (bid#2) I knew I was done. Selina knew so much more about the EBB process then the other 5 companies I spoke with. Andy gave me such a good Inspection and knowledge of my crawl space that I knew he crawled through every inch of my space. I've been under my house dozens and dozens of times. Kristina kept me informed of every step and handled my Deposit as well as Final Payment. Jordan was with me prior to the City Inspection and provided quickly each view the City Inspector needed to see. The Inspection Process was so Professional I knew they had done this before. I can't say enough about my experience with Golden Retrofit. In my humble opinion they Are The Best!

I have a 90 year old house, like all houses that old the foundation has settled in several areas. Received a bid from another company which was outrageously expensive. My contractor recommended Golden Retrofit (GR). Tom from GR came out and explained what they could do to level my house in great detail. Tom took calls and re-explained the same details to my husband and a friend. Their bid was less than half of what the other company proposed. I was little hesitant because of the different in prices between the two bids. Tom reassured me that they will not cut corners and everything would be done to code. I went with GR and they did indeed did a great job. They went above and beyond what they said they would do. The only complaint was that it took longer than the two weeks they suggested. The extra time required was needed to solve a problem caused at the time of the original construction of the house. I'm very happy with them and definitely will recommend them to my neighbors and friends. I highly recommend GR and Tom to anyone that lives in an older home that has a foundation that has settled.

I have a home in Whittier I purchased not too long ago. I was aware it needed foundation repair but I kept putting it off. When I got the first quote the sticker shock was real. Like buy a new Mercedes Benz real. I actually got a recommendation from my real estate agent to call Golden Retrofit. Their estimate included about 1/4 of the work of the other company proposed and the salesman Ross I think let me know the other stuff like a seismic retrofit was just optional. I did the work with Golden and my bank account was much happier I did.

I noticed some cracks along the foundation of my parents property and had no idea what to do so I naturally turned to this website. Golden retrofit is ranked top for a reason! We have a slab foundation and most companies don’t even deal with that. Sam was punctual, intelligent, and easy to reach making the whole situation a whole lot better. Highly recommend these guys.

Could not have made a better decision choosing this company. This was an absolutely fantastic company to work with! When we purchased our new home I knew we had to do some foundation repair. My mom decided to get a condo and leave her house for me and my boyfriend to live in. We saw that we needed a foundation repair, but weren’t exactly sure if we needed it or not. We got referred to use Golden Retrofit through our family friends and decided to give them a call. Ross came in for an estimate and told us we didn’t need a foundation repair. This is why i know i will continue to use them in the future, because of his honesty. My family and I moved into our house 5 years ago and we recently started to get worried about the possibility of a large earthquake so I did some research to find possible options to have people come give us a quote for earthquake retrofitting and I couldn't be happier that I found with Golden Retrofit. My family and I were always very paranoid about earthquakes striking and damaging our house. We live in a relatively older house so we always had concerns about the structures. Made the decision to work with Golden Retrofit for a number of reasons, mainly because I heard a lot of great things as far as house bolting in Los Angeles. Originally I was keeping my options open with companies, however their rates were the most competitive. Once receiving an estimate I went thru with the foundation bolting. Out of all the ways to protect your home or building from earthquakes I was recommended that this was the most affordable and fastest technique. Thankfully no earthquake yet but if there was going to be one it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm glad i made this life changing decision. The procedure I took for my home is preferred the most, so I trusted their decision based on my wants and needs. I'm really happy I made my decision to go with them.

I am the type to do extensive research when it comes to big purchases. We noticed that the floor wasn't level in a part of the house I called a contractor friend of mine. He let me know it was a foundation issue and referred me to Golden Retrofit. Im glad he did. Ross answered all of my questions, and there were a lot. He walked me through the process and made me feel at ease. There were some other issues going on as well other that the level issue. We ended up having to replace the foundation. I brought out another contractor just to compare and Ross came out cheaper. I highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed.

When I bought my house, I was told that I had to redo the foundation. I immediately looked on yelp for someone to fix my home's foundation and I found Golden Retrofit. I spoke to Joey and he came and check out the place. He said I need to do some seismic retrofitting. I had no idea what that meant but he explained to me that I needed to make my house more resistant to seismic activity from earthquakes. He gave me a nice quote and I gave him the job and he started doing activities such as floor jacking, house bolting and foundation repair. We just bought a new house that I was told needed an earthquake Retrofit. I didn't really understand what it was but after some research I realized it was important. After several estimates a friend of mine recommended Golden Retrofit and I'm so happy he did. The estimate was way more reasonable than the other companies and the job took exactly 5 Days!
