Chris (owner) has been a pleasure to work with. He was professional from the moment he came to give us a free quote to paint the inside of our home and through the entire job. His knowledge and experience is very obvious and correct every time, never steered us wrong. Explained the differences in paints, which ones would hold up better over time and which ones work better for our own touch ups. Both he and his crew were very respectful of our home and our time, always showed up at the time said and stuck to his schedule. His pricing is very fair and well worth it. I had a small window between closing on the house and actually moving in. Chris was able to come in and not only provide a free quote but also provide multiple options and the reasons why one would work better than the other. The attention to detail was obvious as they took the time to remove blinds and outlet covers to insure that they were not painted over. I contacted Golden State when I was in a real pinch. Our kitchen was torn apart and we had scheduled another contractor to come out and repair our drywall and paint before our cabinets could be installed. At the last minute we were cancelled on, but luckily we got in touch with Chris at Golden State. He came out that evening, and gave us a quote (which was cheaper than the other guy), and was able to show up the next day to complete the job! Kitchen got completed on time and looks great.

I was referred to Chris at Golden State Industrial Coatings to provide a quote to coat my garage floor. When we talked I was impressed with his knowledge of materials and his suggestion to use 3 x the qty of normal flake count in the coating to make it absolutely non-slip when wet. I thought this was a great idea as my wife and I are not as stable on our feet as we used to be. Chris made a few other suggestions that I liked. Chris did the work himself. The finished floor looks beautiful, and my neighbors are in awe. Not only did the result exceed my expectations, but the entire process was a pleasant one from start to finish.

Contacting Chris was easy and he made time to personally come to my house to review the refinishing job of the cabinets in my home. He offered suggestions on how I could incorporate the new cabinet stain color throughout my home, such as banister railing and home office cabinets. He reviewed the refinishing process, time required for the job, pricing and he even gave me easy maintenance suggestions to make sure my cabinets stayed looking fresh and new.
