From start to finish, dealing with the entire Verified Construction team couldn't have been easier. They do everything for you, including getting all necessary permits and approvals, and keep you fully informed with their cloud based project management portal. I will definitely work with this company again! They did a great job!

They completely changed our home - I had a deck that I never really used much so I wanted to convert it to living space. They handled the whole process from start to finish, they pulled the permits and everything. They finished quickly and looks beautiful- they made it simple, we can’t thank you guys enough!

Vincent DelMonte of Verified Construction out of Pennsylvania and New Jersey claimed to have years of experience as a contractor. But from the very beginning something was off. The foundation was laid so badly the footing was not even on it in places. The foundation had two running water leaks that led to black mold. Requested fixes were continually put off until after inspections could be completed which we now realize was simply an attempt to get a major payment which was due after rough inspections. These repairs were never made. He attempted to cut into the weight bearing wall to place HVAC, until one of the sub contractors refused to do it. He instructed all subs to not speak to the homeowners and required conversations to be held outside so the cameras could not pick up on it. Fortunately one of the subcontractors had done some past work on our home and called us to report that vincent had asked him to lie to us about hvac requirements, which he refused to do. He repeatedly halted work demanding further payment. One of his workers stole over $700 from our childs bedroom. When confronted about this they offered to reimburse us through materials (specifically an updated shower door) which they never did. His last change order was for work that had already been done, and the terms of agreement in the change order, which was required to sign before work would continue despite all contractual payments being made, altered the original contract by stripping us of our rights to leave feedback, contact the building inspectors or subcontractors, sought to invoke a non disparagement clause disallowing us to leave any online negative or neutral feedback (in direct violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016), ordering us to destroy any photographic or video evidence (there was plenty of faults in their work that we had documented and shown them previously), or prosecute them in any way. It also voided any warranty on the work performed. This change order had amendments on it that had little to do with the change order itself. Of note, these amendments were not disclosed. Vincent was pushing us to sign the change order as was his fashion so work could continue, but buried the amendments in the fine print without telling us they were there. Essentially, he tried to sneak these changes by us so that we would void our contract with him. When we refused to agree to the terms he walked off the site. Between the agreed payments, and change orders we have paid them over $250,000.00. with a house that only passed rough inspection. We did not have walls, windows, or any materials we had paid for. Vincent DelMonte closed the doors to his contracting company and opened a new company as roofers. He continues his attempts to defraud consumers by claiming on his website (verifiedconstruction.com) his work is acclaimed on half a dozen websites, including the BBB, Angie's List, Houzz, build zoom, etc. We have contacted these companies and confirmed Vincent DelMonte and verified construction have at no time been honored or distinguished as he claimed. Avoid at all costs.
