We completed your green pool clean up at your vacant house and we noticed there were homeless people sqauatting at that home so what happens after our service is completed is beyond our control. You have received your 600$ dollars reimbursed that we have not disputed despite doing everything on our part and completing a service so the statement that you are out $600 is simply untrue and I do have the bank statements to prove that. And as far as extra maintenance after the way you conducted your business is why we refused to go back Have a great day.

We hired them for their years in business and good ratings that we found online. After a while, we noticed that they wouldn’t show up on the day they were scheduled to and when I asked, they would say oh we will be out the following day, but then we noticed that there were weeks at a time that they would not show up at all yet they would still charge us, so initially we were happy with them, but we found their service fell off, and we eventually went with another contractor that was able to leave us weekly reports of our pool condition as verification that the service had been filled. outwardly the two owners do seem have very nice personalities.
Response from Gomez Pool Service & Repair September 26, 2023Hi Brian, we are sorry you feel this way, however we could not accommodate your wife’s request to have us call or text her each and every visit due to her wanting to (and I quote) “skinny dip”during our visit times. First of all we felt that was inappropriate and we felt uncomfortable second we make sure to announce the times and dates we show up to our customers so they can be ready with locked gates etc. so for us to have to call text and wait for a reply just delays other customers services. Also If we had to possibly service your pool on the following day because many things can come up on any given day we made sure to notify your wife we did not just “not show up”, so I believe that there was miscommunication on you and your wife part about that and you felt this platform was a good way to take that upon us. The owner initially seemed responsive and trustworthy. He started the job of cleaning up our pool and requested payment, but never came back to do maintenance so now I have a green pool and I’m out $600. Have left many messages and get no response. There’s a word for a company like this.
