Unfortunately this company was recommended by a friend who is associated with them. I hired them to do my roofing, siding and windows on a rental property. The roof went pretty seamless and I was kept in the loop through out the entire process, even when unexpected issues arose I was texted pictures and explanations keeping me informed. The real problems arose when it came time to do the siding. It took almost two years to complete the process and the excuses and lack of follow up were atrocious. Week after week, promises were made with zero follow through and no follow up. All in all, they failed inspection twice, didn't attach the gutters correctly, left live wires for the doorbell loose for weeks, shoddy work and short cuts were taken, especially around the windows and electrical box. I brought in two other quotes to look into having it redone and both contractors said it looked like either a hack job or a rush job. The owner even admitted they were not qualified to do siding and that was the last siding job they would be doing. It was a really poor experience for my renters and for us. I personally feel there are way to many other qualified companies to spend any time entertaining them for quotes.

I can't say enough about my great experience with Good Knight Roofing. I almost never write reviews except when I had a horrible experience (probably like everyone) but it was so refreshing to work with any kind of home improvement company that did what they said they would, didn't ask for money until the job was done, and kept me in the loop along the way, that I had to say good stuff about these guys. When I went online to write some reviews I was surprised to find one bad review on several sites (the same review) and nothing positive. I guess we are all too busy to spend the time unless we get mad. They did my roof, gutters, and paint and the work was flawless, messes were cleaned up, and the price didn't change when it was time to pay. I will refer Good Knight to everyone I know.
